Wish the US version had the FHD 144 instead of the QHD 120. QHD on a 14 inch laptop is not that important.

Of course 144 Hz is better then 120Hz. QHD in 14" for me i isn't necessary, but display with QHD/120Hz have 500 nits, and this is much better then FHD/144 Hz and 400 nits [for me of course :) ]

I disagree. I wish the Canadian version had the QHD in eclipse grey. I'm not buying it for this reason only. The reason is because 1080/1200p on a 14 inch has bad scaling results in windows. Set to 100 percent everything is too small. And set to 125% everything it too dang big! The only way around this is custom scaling which introduces issues and messes up external display scaling. Also the 500 nits and DCI color space is nice to have for HDR content (though still not good enough)

You would think you should be able to turn the resolution down and be able to raise the refresh rate in return. If people are able to do that on their phone they should be able to do it on their laptop. If you can't it sounds like more of a software issue than hardware.

Hi! I couldn't really stress test it so I didn't really go into details when making the video, not helpful, I know 😥. But from playing a couple of games for a few hours, the best I can tell you from looking at the Armoury Crate is it reached a max CPU temp of about 64 degrees and the heat spread pretty evenly around the keyboard but was hottest near the display. The cooling system was pretty quiet and I had it on performance mode the whole time. Sorry I couldn't tell you more! Hope any of this info was helpful at all 😂
