How do you tell it was a mining card? miners lower power limit a lot and I mean, a lot!

I was a miner myself LOL Ravencoin and Eth. Some require core, rather than memory. It would be a lie if I said I am 100% sure it was a mining card, but tell tell sings are there around the memory chips and other components that get hot. Around those areas you will see darken discoloration, from prolonged high temperature use, and also how dusty and dirty they come to me.
