Killer card for sure ,i have the same version only 6600 XT. Thermals are awesome,can't say nothing bad about it ,just not sure how long is gonna be viable for 1080p gaming.. cuz we are getting some very unoptimized games recently. 😢

Hang in there man :) These cards are still good for some 1080p gaming for some years still to come. What I do see is people getting caught up in the whole "I have to run my game at max settings" trap mentality. Over 60FPS and good pleasant visuals are enough for me. That RX 6600 XT of yours is good for some years to come as well at 1080p. If anything, it will hold you til you hit the lottery and become rich to buy one of these ridiculously over priced cards for $2000 😬.

What actually removes the warrenty when opening it up? Ike how can they tell? Ive just got this and looks like its maybe a return and been opened and tested as finger prints on the metal side parts.

On that card there is a seal, small round sticker over one of the 4 screws around the backside of the gpu. If the sticker is missing or punched, it has been opened, and they might give you crap with the warranty.

It's a good upgrade. Just make sure your cpu and motherboard support pci-e 4.0, or else you'll be bottlenecked down to pci-e 3.0 x8, not x16. The card supports pci-e 4.0 x8 only.

My MBO supports 3.0 x16 which is close to 4.0 x8 which this card can do. My only worry is can I damage something when plugging it in and can I plug in wrong 6+2. That's first time I'll do it myself... Coming on friday.
