If you go to audio equalizer and configure the dance equalizer a bit it genuinely gets very close to macbook quality the bass gets a lot better

Hi, Thank you for the review. I am looking for a future-proof laptop which has following: 1. Performance- Must be capable of simultaneously running the following- browsing (40-50 open tabs), Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, and one video calling software. 2. Specs- i5 10th gen, 8 GB RAM, SSD-not more than 256 GB (I’ve heard there is a latest variant of SSD-NVM), decent camera. 3. Battery- Type-C charging with quick charge plus minimum 7-8 hours of backup. I don’t play any game on the laptop. Would only need to simultaneously run the above-mentioned programs. 4. Screen: Need a bright HD screen which is bezel less and is minimum 13.3 inch or above. Ideal would be a bezel less 15-inch display like Honor Magicbook. Sometimes, I use a monitor as an extended display with the laptop. I don’t need touchscreen display at all. 5. Durability: Looking for a sturdy body. Easy to work-Keyboard and Touchpad. You can buy HP Pavilion cs3007tx or 3006tx. The only difference is 3007tx having touch screen. I have 3007tx It been 7 days i bought this laptop and trust me....this laptop is beast. This laptop has more than everything you need. It also comes with Nvidiea 2gb MX250 graphic card....by which you can do photoshop, editing, gaming like GTA5 and more. And this laptop is lightspeed fast.

Hey, thanks for commenting. As for your queries... 1) On a mobile chipset, not a massive difference. Noticeable, but not massive by any means. It also depends on the tasks you're running. 2) Haven't tested out the Acer Swift yet, but it looks promising. For extensive typing tasks (since it seems like you're a programmer), I'd go with Lenovo since they have the best keyboards, and performance should be same across the board. 3) Like you highlighted, the Acer Swift 3 looks good. That said, since we haven't personally reviewed it yet, I cannot comment on the day to day working of it. On paper, it seems like a great deal. We have a few more laptops coming in for review, however, so if you can wait for about 2 weeks, we would be able to assist you better. Cheers! :D

That's a common problem with a lot of ZenBook laptops. One way we've seen is that you can put a piece of paper behind the touchpad after disassembling the laptop. The same fix was used most prominently on the Huawei MateBook X Pro, so you can check that out.
