Imho, this should be fitted with 7840U since they shared the same socket compatibility with 6800u where zenbook 13 got refreshed to 7840u. A wasted opportunity by asus. Even competitor also came out with 7040U processors.

This is definitely one gorgeous laptop, I wonder what it will be the price. When and what laptops are you going to release using the AMD 7040 series? This CPU series should be on every slim design model. Also, a huge battery means 99Wh, not 67 as you mention... haha, nice one.

There are at least 2 ASUS Zenbook 15 OLED (UM3504) models. The UM3504DA-MA204W and UM3504DA-MA309W. Maybe even more. Is there a way to recognize by those numbers what the difference is or are between those two models. Are they fully equipped with USB4 (thunderbolt like)? I'm very interested. Are you allowed to tell a little bit about what's coming up in 2024?

my asus zenbook 15 ux533 completely died on me just after 2 years. sent for quotation of repair and it'll cost me $2k. Decided not to. Will never use or recommend asus again sadly

Damn dude. If I actually get a hold of this, I will be buying it. If its under my budget of course(which is $1000 to $1400). I'm talking about the 16gb model btw. I know I'm probably gonna see the 32 gb version more though, around where I live. And Oh yeah, you should definitely do a giveaway.

@@emjr2106 Damn. That's still not a bad price, considering how good this model is, but you can get a lot powerful laptops with discrete GPUs in that range. Sometimes I wonder if there even is an advantage to buying a Zenbook over a cheaper TUF laptop with a discrete GPU and the same amount of RAM.

In Romania is already for sale for around $1400 but is the 16GB one. I did some research and there is no 32GB version, such a pity...

16:9 is a strange choice as is a U series chip and no dedicated GPU. Premium chassis but seriously underpowered. Seems to be aimed at a niche of well heeled buyers that want nothing more than an upmarket general productivity device, don’t game but love watching movies and need very good battery life?

The laptop can run GTA V at very high settings at around 50-60fps. This is great considering its not even a gaming laptop. And no one buys a zenbook to play games. What youre saying is like buying a ford fiesta to compete in F1 racing. The laptop is not “seriously underpowered”. Have you looked at the benchmarks? For the price it’s really good value.
