Good night. I'm just about to make this upgrade. Can you tell me if the change from HDD to SSD makes a great difference and improvement in the performance of this laptop? Thanks.

Unfortunately we did not run the original hard drive for too long. We believe the original set up was using the onboard SSD as a cache drive to improve the performance of the magnetic drive. Though this is not as good as having an SSD for the hole drive. So, you should see much better loading times and battery life with having an SSD drive in this laptop. We are not sure. But it was an imported laptop. So you may be right. Unfortunately we no longer have this laptop here so we can only speculate from the video now. Thanks for watching.
