The first time i saw a phone with dual PCB. That's why this phone is thicker than most flagships on the market. But because of that, the zenfone 7 pro almost has everything that people ever wanted. So great job, Asus.

@PBKreviews4 жыл бұрын
Its possible its there to help try and lift the battery when heating the adhesive underneath but they are not adhesive pry tabs that pull off the adhesive under the battery. However once heating the adhesive underneath the battery a bit from the screen side, its not too difficult to pry the battery off compared to most phones.

Hey considering you disassembled it part by part do you think that it really didn't have the space for adding a headphone jack? (Asus said that there was no space due to 5g modem) And flip setup is durable right? Plus charging port has waterproof meshes 🤔
@PBKreviews4 жыл бұрын
Its possible they could have fit it but I believe manufactures are moving away from including it due to the fact everything is becoming wireless now a days, and also they probably want to push their wireless earphones/buds and headsets etc. Headphone jack seems like it will soon be obsolete and I honestly don't think it will show up on higher end devices much moving forward from the looks of it but yep that's just my opinion. With the price tags on these phones now a days, would be nice to at least see these wireless buds and such be included with the phones if they are not supporting headphone jacks.

ya, it's mainly about profit for them aside from customer satisfaction and its understandable since they need to stay in business. But yea I think if your taking the headphone jack away, better to offer your wireless ear buds in the box with the phone included with these prices on the phones.

If need be, you can heat up the glass lens cover with a hair dryer and pry it off. Its held on with adhesive. Then you can clean it out and apply new adhesive tape if needed and close it back up. I personally would try and avoid disassembling the camera assembly because you will run into issues later on for it staying together or opening and closing smoothly.
