They’re great. I actually have another pair now on the tiger. I love the feel and adjustability of them.

Just put these on my 2016 STR. Love the look but now have a check engine light on. Did you have that issue by chance?
@BendalltheRules Жыл бұрын
I never had that issue.

What year is your bike? I have a 2020 Striple R and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot out there for levers.
@BendalltheRules3 жыл бұрын
It’s a 2014. Contact ASV directly. They should be making levers for the new bikes.

I don’t see the clutch switch tab on the website

Reach out to them directly. It turns out I was sent the wrong brake lever entirely. They remedied it.

Do the ASV clutch levers fit better and not wobble up and down like the OEM lever. My street triple clutch wobbles and my front brake is ok ish.
@BendalltheRules3 жыл бұрын
I found both levers to fit nicely. I honestly cannot remember how the stock levers feel but I’m really happy with the ASVs. They perform great on the track and the adjustability can really be dialed in more specifically.

Trying to put them on now. Clutch good. But rear brake does not reach safety button, am I do something wrong or did they send me the wrong brake lever size?
@BendalltheRules3 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by safety button. If there is a fitment issue i would suggest reaching out to ASV. The one I have slotted it without issue and I also use the OEM brake pin instead of the one provided by ASV.
@BendalltheRules3 жыл бұрын
I realized this too way after the fact. I reached out to ASV and they supplied me with the correct lever.

That little bolt-on tab didn't do what it was supposed to do on my Rocket. My stock brake lever is fatter and that is the part that contacts the clutch safety switch. I like the levers, so guess I have to live with it.

Def holler at ASV and see if they have something that can make it right. They’re a good company.

That tab on the clutch does not engage the clutch switch pin. I actually read somewhere for triumph that little tab is not needed on triumph because it doee not come into contact with the clutch switch... look where it touches - it does nothing. I just installed the same levers on a 2015 Street Triple and noticed that the area where the pin hits on near the pivot is very narrow compared to stock. If you look at your old lever you can see where the pin hits/rides... well on the ASV lever it is so narrow in the same place that it only comes into contact with 1/2 the tip of the clutch switch pin plunger/pin... not ideal... it works and engages the switch but I have to think that it is a design flaw or we both have the wrong model levers! Everywhere I see though shows these model levers to be right for both our model years. strange... why would they design it like that. I plan on adding to that thinned out area on the ASV lever to thicken it up with another piece of metal.... drill and tap holes for a couple machine screws and fit on a thin piece of metal to fatten up the area where the clutch switch pin sits.
@BendalltheRules3 жыл бұрын
Gonna have to hit up ASV about that and compare them to the old levers. Are you experiencing any issues?
@vrwired3 жыл бұрын
No issues... yet... I checked with ASV and they are the correct levers. I still have not fattened up the area where the clutch pin hits. I need to find the right piece of aluminum first. Amazon has some tap and drill kits for say 2mm machine screws... I will feel better about it once I mod it. But anyway no issues. You can see how little contact the clutch pin makes if you install the lever without the cable so you can pivot the knee open and use a flash light. Only touches half the tip of the pin... works but I expect more. I do love the levers though! I also removed the tab with those 2 screws. Does absolutely nothing!

Better to purchase from Revzilla or directly from ASV
