On many many comparison i updated they give mis calculations. Ice base model comare with ev base model but why neglect below point 1. Automatic version 2. Your taking delhi petrol price but other state prices are 105+ 3. 18kmpl average constantly getting is almost impossible it will always vary Check my vlog i done 1300km in 2800rs with my tiago ev on highway trip. Same with cng is costing me 3700rs when i get average on cng 27-28kmpl So give practical comparison. EV is having range issue this is current problem with ev but with proper planning that will also overcome.

Bro think ur self I think most you tuber can change their view every movement if u have drive more than 100 km daily u have no other option because cng also cost around 4 rs .....and u have to spend more engine maintaining charge at every 3 to 4 month ...and in ev it's much lesser ....and if u have use of less than 40 mm than don't think about ev....and now a days model to model price difference is not more than 3 lacs ....so one should look at their own pocket and need .. battery doesn't finish after 1.5 lacs it can go up to 3 lac easily wid good health....and normal IC engine will also need maintenance after 1.5 lac km .... U have compared the base model but base model of ev get more features than base model of other engine (petrol,diesel or cng) like automatic transmission which comes in top model of othe engine varient, and more power also many more features u can check. And you can get subsidy from the state government. In my state i can subsidy of 10k per kw upto 1.5 lac.. So in my opinion its not expensive. If a peeson wants to buy an automatic car or top or 2nd top model than ev will definitely cheap.

you miss the interest charge on extra 50% of vehicle price. normally more than 70% of indian buying car on emi so if punch petrol is getting around 8 lakh on road and you paid 3 lakh cash and 5 lakh on emi at 10-11% rate. on punch ev you get it around 13 lakh on road and paid 3 lakh cash and remaining 10 lakh on emi at 10% rate. both emi duration 5 year then you pay 5 lakh extra price + 10% interest on 5 lakh almost pay 6.5 lakh extra then petrol punch.

Absolutely nonsense and incomparable,when there is nexon n punch available in all versions , why take altroz, I am driving tata nexon for last 18 month, and have already saved 1.5 lakh , which almost covered the diff in petrol n ev price. Ill break even in 2 years and benefit after that, only question is after 8 to 10 years about battery service snd resale value, but by that time i will have saved almost 8 to 10 lakh rs .. EV is highly recommended....

Electric Vehicles is constantly evolving technology and what today we're getting will not be same in upcoming years and at some point/day petrol/diesel will be limited/exhausted then what will be alternative source of personal transportation. Today we see LI-ion batteries in EVs but in upcoming years we might get different technology of batteries like Sodium-ion and obviously charging speeds will be also increased and waiting time will be reduced. One thing we Indians have to learn is maintaining public property. I am driving TATA NEXON EV for last 2 years..done 90000 kms ( around 130 km/day) So far my car Tyre life is still 70 % left,never change brake pads,never changed any other part than 1.5 litre of gear oil or coolant..Always charge car at home so it costs less than 1 rupee per km. Indians attitude is that they r more comfortable in paying more in one go but are reluctant to pay everyday. EV is good but for those who drive more.. With the time EV technology ll be cheaper nd the price difference ll also be more or less same

How can you compare base model with electric base model. All electric vehicles are automatic and many more which is equivalent to petrol top model. After 5 year compare the fuel price. Insurance cost is same as ICE engine. Due to regeneration break pads are not get deteriorated. Regarding battery price, it's cost goes mire than 30% less by 2025, calculate what would be it's cost after 8-10 year. Take some ownership while comparing. As of now challenge is infrastructure and government working on it.

There are some factual errors in these calculations, lemme try highlighting them here: 1. Instead of Altroz, which is not available in EV model, this comparision should have been done with Tiago. Tiago is available in Petrol, CNG and EV models 2. Which Altroz gives average of 19 KMPL? Mine only gives 10-11 kmpl in petrol in city and 13-14 in petrol on highways 3. This comparision shall be done with atleast 10 years of average ownership tenure as thats what people own EVs for. Even after 10 years and approx 1,80,000 kms on Odo, any Tata's EV can easily do 6 lakh kms. 4. How did you calculate running cost of EV? In 5 years it shall run for 90,000 and if most of the charging is done at home, the cost shouldnt go beyond 90k for running in 5 years. 5. Compare apple to apple. Choose a Petrol and Diesel XZ+ Automatic Variant for base price evaluation. 6. What is the certainty that government wont ban Petrol Cars after 10 years, the way Diesel is banned. The resale value of Petrol goes in drain. 7. Insurance expense is much lower in EV cars. Not sure where are you getting these facts from? 8. Your brakepad logic if the most funniest. Do you know that electric cars brake using regeneration for 80% of their braking requirements. I have electric car which has run 2 lakh kms in 3 years, all tyres are original and brake pads are used for only 10% of their capacity. I dont think I will ever need to replace my brake pads! Kindle make these adjustments and then the comparison would be more realistic in my eyes!

Mostly use it sensibilly, outstation trips has to have solid backup plan, like plan a, plan b, More than 2 DC charge needs to be hacked after 2nd DC charge with 5 min of AC wall socket charge. Otherwise ride is good, always have RSA number handy, these needs to ne towed only in pickup trolley trucks with front raised so that regen does not afect the towing
