We're in construction and all our money goes into taxes and paying loan. My dad works hard just to pay loan. We lost everything including gold and house just paying loan and taxes. I came to Turkey some 3 years ago. I had hotel in India. The electricity dept and municipality made my life hell. The taxes broke my back. Finally I left. I’m a Chartered Accountant and Tax Practitioner, we see salary class is very very much upset and they all demand for tax refund but we couldn’t help. Their simple concern is that what we are getting by paying lakhs of income tax every year, water logging in streets, long queues in hospitals, high fees in school, high costly property and rent and no retirement benefits by government for non-government employees 😢

I left India in 1976and never regretted. I love India but will not be returning. I am in Canada where I have paid my taxes. I have free healthcare, government pension, taxes rebates. People in India can say whatever they want.

My great grandfather came to USA in the early 70's He saw this way earlier , he used to say that corruption runs in the veins of our country .... In is £1500, electric bill £150 , council tax £120, transport £150 + … food is extortionate ! It’s not safe in London .. there are gangs stabbing innocent people on the streets … it’s not what it was … ! If you’re going to move abroad .. make sure you do your research 😎
