I would like to add: 1. The execute fire AoEs do more damage in the middle than at their borders. 2. The DoT that the fire AoE leaves is not too crazy and doesn't have to be purged immediatly. 1 Shield is usually enough to completely negate that damage. On PTS it seemed the DoT dealt way more damage than it does now (around 2000 per tick only)

i just done vet AS for the very first time tonight, and i have not even done the normal version before, i ran it with my guild. we had quite a few people in the group had never done it before. we had a very interesting set up as well. we had THREE healers in the group, 2 tanks, and 7 dds. and we still pulled it off, took us 3 hours total, 75mins just to beat the final boss, hahaha. i guess all of us had TOO MUCH patience.

Great guide Alcast! For an off tank in trails do you want a full blow tank Spec tank with double sword and board in 5 heavy Or is it something else like a 5 medium armor dps with sword and board on their backbar?

So the Asylum reso staff says "When you cast blessing, the cost of your healing abilities are reduced by X% for 3 seconds". My question is does that count for any healing abilities or just resto abilities. Example: Cast blessing, bar swap, cast breath of life. Would breath of life cost be reduced?

what changes when you have +1 or +2 boss? rewards, mechanics etc.

With +1 nothing, just achievements. With + 2 well you get rolled over by AoE RNG damage like you can see in this video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gISxfauIqbOSfsk And when you do Hardmode you get Perfected Asylum Weapons & the silver skin.

What do you mean with support/healing tank? How is this offtank setup?

I used spellpower cure + earthgore + 3 inventors guard + maelstrom resto + asylum lightning staff with lord mundus and all points in health. 5 Light armor, jewellery enchanted with regen. Argonian. I tanked on healing staff bar and just spammed healing and barely blocked. Lightning staff for concussion and offbalance support when no healing was needed. I don't recommend playing this build tho as it is fairly squishy. The build is made for +1/+2 not for +0.

Quick question I know this vid is old but on your website it says 2 fire staffs but in this vid you are using 1 fire and 1 shock do I go with your website

ye, due to off balance changes, roll 2 fire staves on most setups (unless you have a lot of aoe dmg then shock)
