If Disney gets it , the SJW's already have their work cut out for them. Ultra-intelligent, telepathic FEMALE aliens rule unequivocally, with complete authoritative control over dumb MALE drones. Some male bad-GUY general, tries to control the Queen, ultimately Queen comes out on top. Ripley & Newt are strong female leads, though they would have to tone down their sexuality to go with feminist agenda. Weyland's great-granddaughter would now be in charge of Weyland-Yutani. Ripley Kills Queen, Newt kills Weyland heiress. Good Girls Win.

I always loved this issue when I first read it years ago, but now I'm wondering why the hell they didn't figure out what was happening before they even opened the colony's front door. I mean, seriously, these soldiers's home planet has just been overrun in a year-long war with these creatures. They should know- instantly and without question- exactly what an alien infestation looks like. Even preoccupied with escaping Spears, they should have known what was happening long before they actually got ambushed.
