Kryos, their reproduction cycle and their need to kill anythig else near their nests off is brutal and nasty yes. Tho they dont do that out of malice, if you face an Alien you know what to expect if you dont kill it first. A Human of that universe however can play to be your best friend to the point you believe and trust him, and in the next move he impregnates you with one of those bastards to sell your exploding body and its alien content on space-ebay to the highest bidder for profit. Quite frankly. i'd be very nervouse in that universe, and not directly because of those aliens if you get my drift.

What always bothered me was spaceships and submarines that had mazes of air duct shafts running the length of the ships. If you have a hull breach how the hell do you seal off the compromised compartment of the ship. At least the Enterprise had hatches in their Jeffries tubes that closed to seal off the compartment. The Nostromo had those spiral doors but you could see there was still a small opening in the center of the spiral hatches that would still vent atmosphere out in the case of a hull breach.

Sidenote, The name Private Buhler (if that is the correct spelling) is a little play on words, since Buhler in German is a wooer (someone who beckons for the love of his chosen). As always it is immersing to listen to your exceptional narrative capability. I really am liking this Massey. He is a 1 in a Million character, and I cant but agree with what @matthiasthulman4058 pointed out, he would make a fine opponent for a Yautja.

I love the artwork of this comic, shaded and coloured. The colour is just single blocks of colour, light and shadow all handled by the cross-hatch. But if you were to print it in black and white it would look just as good. I need to steal that!

It's the same Hicks and Newt- these comics and books came out before Alien 3. When Alien 3 came out, they changed their names in all re-prints of the comics and books about the Earth War.

I never read the Dark Horse comics, but I did read the novels, which these seem to follow. Is that why Hicks isn't Wilkes? (I think that was his name, it's been over a decade). Curious what other changes you've made; I'm really enjoying it! Subbed!

The print copies released before Alien 3 had "Hicks" and "Newt", but afterward their names were changed in subsequent printings & omnibus collections to "Wilks" and "Billie". It wouldn't do to disrupt movie canon, after all, even if everyone hated the idea that Hicks & Newt didn't survive in the EEV
