Much of what you say, is historically accurate, however none of us can really know the man. Im trying to work out your angle, unless its merely monetary🤔 Clearly Jimmy Page was a sensitive guy, pressures of touring, anxiety led him to addiction. John Bonham, like Page struggled with stage fright. Page also sufferred from anxiety about going into the studio. Touring took its toll too. I'll be kind, this video is a cruel attack on a, now, old man. How Christian is that? Sadly mamy Christian churches are infiltrated by Luciferians/satanists now, why not mention that?! Then theres the worlds super elites, demons in flesh overcoats. Ive studied most comparative religions and the 'occult' (hidden knowledge) and true path-working 'religions' can be like a game of snakes and ladders (based onntje Kabbalah/Tree of Life), however learning about them, whilst still loving God, is using discernment and our God given brains, some God encourages us to do.

I intend to be fair and honest in my assessment of Page's and ZEP'S association with Occult activity. Full disclosure: I am a committed Christian and unapologetic about it. Let me first acknowledge the unbelievable talent of these 4 Musicians. They all were at the top of their game with unmatched talent in their respective instrumental skills. And when they came together in 1968(?) there was no mistaking the chemistry. There has not been, and in my opinion , will never be another group of musicians with that level of talent and creativity. Anyone who argues with that is a bonehead. There isn't a song they wrote in all 9 albums that is "skippable". Of course we all like some better than others, but they are all worthy "listens". And if Bonzo had not died, I'm sure they would have ruled the 80's as they continued to hone their talents and creativity. Needless to say, I love their scores. And listening to them speak, there is no denying that the 3 surviving members are very decent and likable men. What I struggle with, and what I reject is their blatant hedonism. The licentious body language of Plant, the lyrics that exaggerate sex without boundaries, their off stage lifestyles of unrestrained self indulgence, (Which Plant openly acknowledges) the obvious innuendos to drug use both in their songs and in their lives. Sorry people, it matters how we live and what values we portray. And when it comes to Page's association and infatuation with the Occult and especially Allister Crowley, it is very troubling. Listening to some of the comments on this board that make lite of these things demonstrates a real cognitive dissonance of the reality and dangers of the spiritual realm. There is no such thing as a "benign" association with Occult things. And I have never heard Page renounce his involvement with the Occultic ideology and his association with such. This ideology carries with it open disdain for Jesus Christ. On album #2 or #3 (can't remember) is inscribed "Do as thou wilt". This is a common expression among Satanist's demonstrating their disdain for the will of God. Why would Page align himself with such rebellious thinking against God Almighty? Why would they choose symbols for themselves with Satanic and Pagan origins? There is nothing benign about this, and to dismiss it as harmless or of no consequence is just wrong! And it is not wrong to point this out....as good as their music was or as much as we like them. When Jesus was contemplating the agony of the Cross and praying to His Father, asking if there be any other way to accomplish the redemption of people, He said, "nevertheless not my will, but Yours be done." And as one person on this board so aptly quoted Matthew 6:24 "You can not serve two Masters"........... I wish nothing but the best for Page, Plant, and JPJ and that includes a public renouncing of any association, past or present with all things "Occult" related. Every person has to come to terms with Jesus Christ Who said; "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE, NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME." Yes, the way to forgiveness and life is narrow, because only ONE PERSON paid the price for our redemption. No one else had the qualifications or the resume to do so. All roads DO NOT lead to Heaven. So take seriously the words of Jesus, and make an informed choice. You don't make a bold statement like Jesus did unless you have the authority to do so. Jesus was either a narcissistic, deluded lunatic, or He was God the Son in human flesh. On a final note, JESUS SAID: John 3:17-19 God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. He never actually lived in the house. He has stated that it seemed to have an odd feeling about it. In my early 30s, I read the same Crowley bookit he had and found it rather disturbing. I threw it away when I was done.

OMG, I've been in love with Jimmy since I was 15yrs old. He's a guitar God and nothing anyone says about him can sully his magnificence. He's an idol and an icon, a maverick and a magician and who cares what he does or believes in his spare time. He's a magnificent entertainer and will always be remembered as such.

Anyone who thinks Jimmy Page is dangerously into the occult should hear his take on seeing a ghostly figure at Headley Grange. Although the entity he saw was benevolent or neutral, he still avoided that part of the house that day, as he explained: "I didn't think it wise to tamper with the paranormal." Those are not the words of a reckless thrill-seeker or even a serious mage. A younger friend once phoned me up to say he was getting into Zeppelin, but was worried about their Karma after reading sensationalistic stuff. I put his mind at ease and told him Page himself is upset at all the rumours. Stairway to Heaven is a song of hope, as Robert Plant said. I admit I don't listen to Dazed & Confused in I'm alone at night, but that's true of ALL eerie music, like Sibelius' Tapiola!

Using These satanic Symbols gave the Band an image of misteriosity, and thus made it unique and interesting. This was an act of creativity. Otherwise they would have been a heap of borers.

@locoocho2415 7/12/2024 YES, in general the 1st L.Z lp was definitely a landmark, a la par as Jimi's Are You Experienced, hard to nail it down to 1 song as a fave, but D & C is great, vs "How Many More Times" which is great for an overall upbeat track

I doubt it was a result of a curse. Like as if Anger was some bad-ass magician, which I doubt he was. After all, who inspired more people, Page or Anger?
@jusupdjidjimidjimilovic36776 ай бұрын
Dumb story. Every Christian church did masses and prayers to make them collapse where Led Zeppelin have concerts, like to Manson Alice Cooper, Stones, Black Sabbath. Much more evil energy and black magic was done there then some self-proclaimed initiate can did.

So what exactly was the point of this video? Jimmy did drugs. Yeah, we know. He was into the occult. Yeah, we know that too. A lot of young impressionable kids were and are until they grow up. Nowhere in this video is Jimmy Page saying anything revealing at all. He probably never will. I have always been a fan of Led Zeppelin's music and at times I thought maybe I shouldn't listen to it because of my own beliefs. My only hope for Jimmy is that one day he does repent and accept the true LORD. After all, what does it profit a man to gain the world but lose his soul?
