Well their metals are cheap. They import all their ore and quality isn’t as good as North American ore. Their metals crack easily from all the impurities. So yeah their products are still crap.

Good video, thanks. I went to Shenzhen and was very impressed by the level of attention to quality and the expertise. It pisses me off when people (in the US) talk about "cheap chinese crap". Sure, if you pay 5 cents for something it'll have less quality control, but if you pay any kind of sensible price you can get excellent work. I have a lot of respect for the Chinese.

I worked in a motor winding plant for a while,until it was shipped to China. Yes,we used to make this stuff as recently as the 1980's. It was actually for GM. I cant remember what they were for now. I was a young stud then. It was a factory job but paid way better than minimum wage,which explains why it is gone now.

Here are the FACTS as I see it: The manner in which you see these Chinese workers pay attention to what they do and the dedication they EACH put in their work is because of TWO THINGS. Each of them are very DEDICATED to their jobs and each of them are VERY DISCIPLINED! That's RIGHT and that's a FACT! They make a measly dollar or two a DAY while working 8 and 10 hour shifts! They DON'T get caught SOCIALIZING, taking out their CELL PHONES, getting EXCESSIVE BREAKS, or going in LATE! They do what they DO BEST and we are talking about THOUSANDS of them sometimes working within a single company. I have taught many, many students coming from many cultures and races, and speaking different languages for over 20 years. One thing I ALWAYS have noticed is that no matter what grade I have taught in, the Asian students are very DISCIPLINED in learning and are mostly OBEDIENT, FOLLOW RULES, and are RESPECTFUL! THAT is the REASON why they grow up to be like the ones you see in this Video!

Nice work. Great video. I ran an industrial controls business for years, building and installing production machinery (some of it very much like the machines in use there) and visited a lot of similar operations. It's amazing just how similar small factories like this are all over the world. (my 1st 'lost in a business park of another language' was in Ponce PR about 1990. It is indeed an unforgettable experience) I envy you, enjoy the ride! Thanks for the look into the model industry, looking forward to the next video. Subscribed!

You are absolutely right about how you feel. When I was in Japan and on a one week leave, I was lost several times. I got a bicycle from the base and was allowed to use it off base. I did a lot of sight seeing. I got lost inside one of the many tunnels(caves) they had in mountains., and it took quite a bit of time to find my way out! Once caught a taxi due to being lost!

I loved watching this video. Very nice to see "inside" the BrotherHobby brushless motor factory and see the workers who put a lot of effort and pride into making the motors that bring lots of fun & joy when we fly our toys. It really makes you reflect on the $15 to $25 we pay for each motor, quite a good price for all that goes into it. That's so nice of the BrotherHobby people to allow you to film inside. Now gonna see what other cool videos you got on your channel.

Mike Spille Seriously? Its china. Do you actually think they make anything compaired to what we make here in the US? Many come from poor provinces outside the city. They live in company supplied flats with others paying a percentage in rent. Aside living expences( which isnt much) they send most of what they make back home to support their family. It is more than they can ever hope to acheive at home,but trust me,the employer comes out on top. I suggest you look up life in China,there are many video's that outline the living conditions there. I wouldnt think it would be something you would want to do. Clearly, we live much differently than they do. I know I could never live that way here in the US and wouldnt. I have only worked one food service job,relying on tips snd that was enough of that. Unless you have a parent supporting you,its not a good way to make a reliable living. Can you make money? Yes,not saying you cant. I did better as a dishwasher,and at the time,It was way above minimum,and way better than seasonal tip reliant type work.

Some motors are wound by hand, if you look at them you can easy tell because they look neat if wound by machine.
@scottfirman
@scottfirman 7 жыл бұрын
Ben Wilson Nope,most if not all motors are wound by machine. Where would any profit be in hand winding if a machine can double,triple output. Using a machine is not a bad thing,comeon. A machine is much neater and better quality control. China is not backwards in technology people.
