This movie is so dark and so beautiful to look at. Sean is astounding (and also beautiful to look at). Mary Stuart is heartbreaking. Crispin Glover's performance - he does SO much with his screen time. I'm just floored this did not win awards.

This movie is what Sean means when he said he was in involved projects that we could go watch in a theater and that would last forever. Most if not all of the current content can't hold a candle to the work in this movie. Chris Penn was great in this as well.

Beautiful cinematography and a gorgeous, emotional instrumental. Just a perfect opening. Only improvement would've been to have the credits be in a more imaginative font and be placed on the screen so that they don't cover Sean's face.

I hate Sean Penn and his politics. But I loved him in this movie. Christopher Walken is the man!!!!! I have seen this movie a 100 times. My favorite film and very underrated!!!

This wasn't sampled for that song. The tones in the BoC tune are clearly from a synth, and the backing (bass) tone has a different character. Similar yes, but sampled, no.
