Mother & Sister have suffered a harsh retribution. On one hand I do have pity for them. On the other hand they both put themselves in that moment by their own actions. If the Mother had not ran off with her then husbands best friend, she would not have been with the man who injured her. If the Sister wouldn't have reconnected with OP using only lies, she would not have been around that same man. We never know where the path we have chosen will ultimately take us. So I think we should st least choose a path that we do not knowingly cause others harm. We have enough karma coming our way for the unintentional harm we cause.
