Tape some paper over the marquee glass from the inside and you'll dim it down nicely - easy and quick fix. To fix the short cable problem, put the short cable into a powered USB hub and then plug the hub itself into your PC. If you buy a hub with a removable cable, you can make it as long as you want.

I still haven't done that. I have my machine wedged into the corner and don't really want to deal with moving the PC, pulling out the Pinball machine, etc. But the next time I DO pull it out, I'm gonna do just what you said. :-)

My wife purchased this unit for my birthday and I can honestly tell you that it has provided endless hours of fun and excitement for this retired homebody. It is simple to install right out of the box and set up took less than two hours. The initial frustration of toggling the various buttons to get to your preferred game was a bit challenging but I mastered adding high scores and making volume adjustments etc....within days. The first couple of days felt odd as I have been playing larger machines since the 70's however, once you play for a few weeks the size of the screen seems fine. The most delightful part of the AT Legends Pinball systems is the outstanding graphics and authentic sounds coming though the speakers. I was transported back to my teenage years with such titles as Big Shot, Haunted House and Genie. Many of the other games are super enjoyable as well. Overall, a GREAT purchase.

With the PC games can you get the second video to appear on the pinball? Also how possible would it be to just put a PC in the actual cabinet? I seen other videos and there is a lot of empty space in there. Would take some doing for cooling to be sure
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
Yes! NOW you can - AT Games has released a product (although it already sold out) that allows just that. Watch some of my recent Table Showcase videos to see that in action. And yeah, one could just Mod the whole thing, with a PC inside, but I'd recommend a vent for sure (probably a fan, too).

Can someone please inform me on how to acquire other games such as Medieval Times and other Williams and Bally's Classics. Are they sold on the internet and downloaded onto your computer? Any Help would be appreciated from anyone. Thanks
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
Hi Gibsonplayer, they are indeed sold on the internet and downloaded on your computer. They are on Steam (store.steampowered.com/). Just go there and search "Pinball" and you'll find TONS of different games to download and play on your PC. And if you have an AT Games Legends Pinball, you can connect your PC and play them on the Legends Pinball table with OTG mode.
@MrJDNJ3 жыл бұрын
It's too bad the PC games don't communicate with the legends machine backglass?? Is that firmware issues?
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
They're just separate video sources. And their video display on the pinball machine uses a proprietary video input. You can get (on Amazon) some hardware to be able to plug in your OTG backglass video feed so it shows up on it, but it's a *bit* finicky, and you have to delicately plug in a ribbon cable to use it, THEN do the same thing to plug your Legends Pinball feed back in to use that. BUT - AT Games JUST came out with a new hardware board that you can install (It's called the Rachel board) that will allow you to easily switch the top backglass over to your OTG video source with the press of a button. I have mine ordered and shipping as we speak. I will do a video when it arrives and I install it. I can't wait.

Man that looks cool, thanks for sharing! Would you recommend the ALP to someone who does not want to connect an external source, such as a PC, to it to play? For someone who prefers to simply add it to their arcade, cut it on and play the tables offered by At Games?
@digitalvictory82662 жыл бұрын
Absolutely 100% There's no better value! The only competition are the Arcade 1Up tables, and they are very limited on the number of tables, they're very small (much smaller than this) with a 720 resolution. The Legends Pinball is true 1080 (both screens!) and much larger. It comes with 22 tables, and you can get about 90 more official tables (download) through @ Games. (The Zaccaria pack is especially good!)

I'm curious on your opinion on what you feel is an acceptable graphics card and cpu to not have issues. I have a Ryzen5 cpu and a gtx 1650super. Ive tried hooking up the legends pinball, have some stuttering it seems and a very slight flipper lag. Still playable but can't help feeling like there is something off just a bit. I've been using a 6ft usb to usb. It works just doesnt feel the same on the legends 32inch with otg than it does at my desk with a 24inch monitor using keyboard for controls. I don't really see any issues at my desk however. Could the larger screen needing that much more from the gpu to cause this you think? Going to try a shorter cable next. Thnks.
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
I have heard that the Legends machine doesn't play well with Ryzen systems. That's starting to get into technical areas though, and I have NO claims on knowing much in that arena. I can only tell you what I've tried and what worked. My PC has a i5-10600KF CPU, with a an Nvidia GTX 1660, and as I mentioned, it seems to run everything fine. I DO notice that the different systems have their own "feel" and certainly FX3 seems to be the most finicky. Just not *quite* as responsive as the others. I can get used to it pretty quick, though.

Whenever I run a table from Pinball FX3 via Pinball Emporium..it will lock up when returning to the 'menu wheel'. I have to run FX3 independently outside Emporium to avoid this. Do you have this same issue?

No, I hit escape a few times to exit FX3, but once it does, it goes back to pinball Emporium menu. I heard some people hit alt-f4 to exit fx3, but I haven't done that.

Does the haptic feedback back work for fx3?
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын

I've been out of the pc loop for a while and now I'm finding it difficult to purchase the proper build to work with my ALP. Even using the specs of your build, I cannot seem to nail down a system that will work without breaking the bank. Unless your setup includes a pc costing over $1000. Not to sound cheap, but I really don't want to spend so much on a pc that will only be used for pinball. Or have I stepped into something expensive and have no choice but to pay the price? Any links to the pc you purchased?
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
I know others have said they use one less beefy and they do just fine. If you're not a member of the AT Games Legends Pinball Group, I recommend it. Folks there are very knowledgeable. I got mine at Bestbuy. It was just under $1000. I'm sure if you built one it would be way less for one of similar power. the one I got was something like these: www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?_dyncharset=UTF-8&browsedCategory=pcmcat287600050002&id=pcat17071&iht=n&ks=960&list=y&qp=currentprice_facet%3DPrice~%24750%20-%20%24999.99&sc=Global&st=categoryid%24pcmcat287600050002&type=page&usc=All%20Categories

Does the haptic feed back work with the PC tables?
@digitalvictory82663 жыл бұрын
Sadly, no. But if you have a sub-woofer, it tends to give a similar feel, just not directly through the hands. I think I read that AT games is working on that, so that OTG games will have haptic feedback too. I hope so.
