Chelsea, I’ve been watching your videos since the early makeup days but about 8 months ago finally watched your first birth video, since we are pregnant with our first and are wanting to do a natural birth. I cried then and I’m crying now, as I watch your second birth, only a few weeks away from giving birth myself. @@hannahhurlbjt3670 Girl if you haven’t had a baby NATURALLY you shouldn’t talk😂 as soon as I got the epidural I didn’t feel a thing and birth was a breeze, but pre epidural at 7.5 cm… yeah I felt those contractions and could feel them through the video, that’s called being an Empath. Unfortunately, I can genuinely feel what other people feel. I never knew what birth felt like before having a baby, but now that I had a baby and didn’t get my epidural until almost 8cm dilated I know what it feels like lmao. My cousin got her epidural right away and doesn’t know what a contraction feels like. There is a difference.

It’s like I needed this video… first thing you said was second babies like to trick you. I spent 14 hrs yesterday with prodromal labor that did get closer and stronger but the contractions never lasted more than 30-35 seconds. This will be my second baby but first homebirth. Anxiously awaking baby girls arrival now, feeling quite tired today because I did a lot of movement hoping things would progress but they never did

The minute you pushed him out the words “it is so beautiful” were all I could think. I teared up. I’m so excited and scared to experience giving birth and becoming a mother. So many women make it look so easy! Like it’s just a little gym workout or something. Women are so incredibly strong and courageous! Thank you for sharing this. Maybe it will help me have a little dose of exposure therapy. The Creator is magnificent.

Remember that God made women to be capable of going through childbirth. It is an experience that only women will understand because they go through it. And with each child you bear, it is an expression of your love towards your husband because you need to offer your body fully to him before you can produce a child. It’s a very vulnerable experience for women, but that happens when you love your husband so much. And as you go through pregnancy, your body changes a lot; not just the growing belly to accommodate the baby’s growth but also those growing breasts which are required to nourish the baby after birth. A woman feels very heavy during pregnancy but when she feels the baby’s movements, it’s so worth it. And as she endures the pain of childbirth and feel the baby squeezing through her birth canal, she feels that kind of sacrificial love for her child and forgets about the pain the moment she sees her baby.
