Again Gary, a big thanks. I requested the kit when I saw your video. I received it 11 days later, applied it and my wife can ride again. Due to the bracket being a bit big, I filed it to fit instead of using the piece. Plus, I didn’t remove the chain and it worked fine. Thanks for what you do for e-Bikers.

Great job! I agree with our fellow Friends and Commentors.... too hard for the average trike owner/rider. Thank you for helping others. I am glad I do not need that fix on my TK PRO....although you would be able to make the repair faster on mine...🤔😅🤣😂

@@IMBruceECLECTIC I do agree I think they should make some money available so that a bike shop can fix it. It’s not a hard repair I would estimate probably a half an hours labor

Glad to see this is available, thanks for sharing. For most users I would think this is a trip to the bike shop for installation. I wonder, or maybe you know, if this is the same fix that will be applied to future TK Pros. I'm planning to order one for my wife when they come back in stock.

Imagine being a senior citizen and have to do this to your brand new trike, no wonder Lectric outsells everyone.May not be as good, but it works just fine.

@@pedrofernandez8729 I honestly think that the company should make funding available so that a bike shop could repair this. I don’t believe it would take a bike shop more than a half an hour.

@@GarysE-BikeAdventures When I got my Lectric XP, there was a minor issue with the gearing, I took it to a bike shop and send them the bill which they promptly refunded me. Great customer support.

Grease moisturizes you hands. Too complicated repair for an average new trike owner. At least there is a solution.

@@garywillhoit I definitely think the company should have some allowance for money to be sent to a bike shop to have this repair done. Don’t think it’s a big repair probably a half an hours labor

Will any new purchase of a TK Pro have this beefy bracket already installed??? - cuz there is NO WAY I cud do this on my own. IMHO - that kit is more for a bike shop to install and NOT for average TK Trike owners. Also, where I live - NO bike shop will touch an ETrike they don't sell, let alone fix the transmission/chain assembly. Mooncool really messed up and their fix isn't doable for most. Sorry but I will buying another brand.

@@danielbecker9836 I was told that the new ones will come with the bracket installed and I agree that they should be paying a fee for a bike shop to install this. It is definitely beyond what most people would do. In my honest opinion if the bike shop won’t work on another brand, I wouldn’t go there anyways my local bike shops will work on anything. It really is a decent trike for the money. There’s not a lot out there in this price range but if you want some suggestions, I have a bunch of trikes and could help you out. Email me. [e-mail]
