I have about 50 miles now, on my Lectric ONE. I really like this e-bike, but I have one major complaint. There is no proportional control to the motor! When using the throttle lever, or when pedaling, the motor control is either at 0% or 100%. In South Florida, on flat terrain, in PAS1, I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 9 mph. In PAS2 I basically have to throttle, or pedal, at 15 mph. In PAS2, to drive the e-bike at 13 mph, I have to pedal, then coast, then pedal some more. I think the motor control algorithm could be improved, integrating the proportional motor power up and down, based on the pedal cadence, and the current speed.

I see that you changed the crank arms and front sprocket. I know that this provides more leverage, but why did you feel it was necessary in your case? Thanks
@GarysE-BikeAdventures
@GarysE-BikeAdventures 5 сағат бұрын
@@johngranato2673 this bike is not designed to actually use the pedals for the most part. It’s a throttle bike.. I prefer it to pedal a little bit so the larger crank gives me more pedal to a higher speed in the short crank arms increase the ghost pedaling so I change them to 160mm being a one speed is not much else you can do. I know some of the guys with the Goat moped style actually have 80 tooth cranks on them. They look ridiculous.

Gary, How about a review discussing the issue that some of us are having with the differential tensioner loosening thus causing the owner to have to make adjustments. I've had this happen 3 times. I love the trike, but this is a bit of a nuisance. Thanks!!

I’m interested in your review of the Wired Freedom as you seem to be a straight shooter and not swayed by the prospect of making a few hundred dollars shilling for a company. Once you try a 3300 watt bike, you will never be satisfied with a 48v 750 watt bike. I have a V1 Freedom and the new cruiser and the extra 1000 watts on the Cruiser is a major improvement over the old 2200 watt KT drivetrain. The Gemma brakes are excellent and with the 203 rotors I don’t think you will need to upgrade anything. The issue with e cells is its owner, he is a criminal and a pathological liar incapable of telling the truth or taking any responsibility for all the broken promises he has made. A F rating from the BBB and the ridiculous owner moderated facebook page are red flags.

Did you run into issues on the suspension seat post length? I’m 6ft and looks like the longest I can get in the 27.2 shim size is 350mm vs the stock 500mm. Wondering if 350mm will have enough extension for me.

@@copanewbe so I just extended mine all the way up and from the top of the clamp it holds the seat in place to the top of the seat. It’s about 15 inches. @@GarysE-BikeAdventures You're right, I AM getting old and forgetful, I think these companies have made plenty of dough already. Even with shipping included, the profit margin must be huge. Remember, they get these from China at a fraction of the price they're asking for.
