At least 1,400 killed in Israel-Hamas conflict

Two days on from Hamas launching a surprise attack on Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says this week’s events will forever change the Middle East.
It comes after Mr Netanyahu declared Israel was at war following Hamas’ attack over the weekend.
Israel has ordered a total blockade of Gaza, leaving the territory without food, fuel or water.
At least 1400 people have been killed on both sides.
The Israeli military is retaliating, hammering Gaza with artillery and airstrikes, with more than a thousand targets hit.

With the city under siege, the Israelis are going to force many people to leave. I don't know the full situation, can they go as refugees to Egypt? If they can get out they will be safe for now, those that stay will eventually run out of supplies and be caught up in the battle between Hamas and the IDF.

As someone who's naturally an empath, I feel terrible for all the innocent people being hurt or killed, losing their loved ones, losing their homes, and everything.
