The biggest problem is high wind speeds of Santa Anna winds. Sustained speeds of over 100 plus mph in many areas where fires started last Tuesday. Regardless of resources, those speeds make fire virtually impossible to fight

Why haven't we in East Tennessee in Western North Carolina got this coverage? We Have essentially been forgotten with the exception of some wonderful charities and organizations and people from all over the United States helping.
