AT Pro vs. Ace 400

Good job boys. I was unsure which one to get before I watched this video. I think if you need something that is waterproof , you need the AT Pro. If not, you can save some cash and get something that is extremely similar. The headphones that come with the AT Pro are NOT waterproof. Thanks for doing this test it was very helpful. Your parents should be proud.

Really perfect job, guys! Thanks from Ukraine. In fact this test is better than 95% of test of "professional testers" and shops, really nice job and really that tests with nails show real situation in a junky place, like old ruined house or village. In such scenario AT Pro wins. Really with my experience most MDs with DD coils have comparatively same depth, and such things like discrim really matter.

I use the 300i not to far behind both! Great video guys, can't wait to purchase the Garrett 5x8" coil for mine, but happy so far for what I been finding. Hey you guy's, great job on the comparison, well done :) I'm shopping around for one of these units and found your video here and it has been very helpful - I mean... the AT series are more high-end and around double the price, while the ACE series get's the job done too... kinda torn between the two. I might end up opting for the newer ACE 400(i) simply because I don't really have that much time for the endevour of treasure hunting, but you'll never know what you might find with a good detector... and that makes me more motivated to get out there and at least enjoy the outdoors! To hear faint beeps you have to be on Pro Mode and have the sensitivity on high, I hope that helps!

Agung Kurniawan the AT Pro has 15kHz, meaning that it can detect very small peices of metal, such as gold. The Ace 400 has 10kHz and can find only bigger pieces of gold. To answer your question, the AT Pro is the better machine for finding gold. Thanks

If you want to keep it simple and also dig up allot of junk buy the 400. The Pro is more for "skilled" people. You can learn the sounds of trashy items and save allot of time.
