The time has come when I can use Garret apex to explore areas that the Ace 250 missed. I haven’t had many search options yet but the result is great. Apex definitely locates objects better and faster. I missed a lot of coins and relics. Great race 🏁. Stay safe

If that’s your budget you could got with an Ace 250, or go with one of the new Vanquish range... I think the 350 is within your budget.

The euroace and 250 are different machines, 250 with Nel coil is good! Euroace with stock coil DD is also very good

Hi Arron. Great video as always mate. I reckon that blank coin would be a worn King George I or II. A lot of US coin shooters like the sniper coils, you lose a bit of depth but apparently they do seperate well. All the best buddy. MMMD.

Arron, Dopple A here...Right. Well based solely on uniqueness of find..I"m afraid the pen knife takes it. You can't use it, it's rubbish. However In the MD universe it could be (has been) argued that it's a cool find. I want to make it clear that it is no refection on either machine, as finding a knife is simply a cool thing to have done. Random that, not the machine. That said, of your comment of a sniper coil. Pass. The depth is poor, and remember it's a mono coil, which has a sharp and diminishing cone. Since you have found great success with NEL (which is the retail name for the CORS Engineering Laboratories that makes NEL), I suggest that you look into the Shrew coil. The coils as you know are hotter and better tuned. But most importantly, with the "blade" type of "curtain" field that the DD casts, you can get far better separation (especially with a 250) with the DD coil, and you will be getting the very most out of depth and tuning that the 250 can muster. With the (American) Football shape to the coil, you can actually get it into tighter spots than the Sniper. These days, new, they go for about the same. My observations all the way out here on the left coast of US, you can find sniper coils used in perfect condition, for about 40 Dollars US. Thanks for your pointers over the past year.
