AT Seiko 6159-7001, January 1969, the classic

i started looking at watches and remembered seeing some old watch left in a pile of junk in my storage shed, and went to go find it because all i could remember was it was a seiko.. i do remember my dad used to wear it when i was a little kid... the band has deteriorated now and the second had only works for a couple seconds before it stops... probably needs a good cleaning.. i was surprised it was an automatic n still thought it would be worth like $25... just looked it up on Ebay and OMG now im trying to find all the info i can on this thing.

Is the watch a 6159? What is the data on the caseback, especially the serial number and model number?

The price of these now rival a good Rolex Submariner. It’s amazing and a bit crazy
