IT is a world wide sport over 20 countries it's amatur though. Remember not long ago soccer Rugby Olympics tennis were all amatur. The only reason the AFL didn't go to Vegas a long time ago.. they don't have the stadiums! Rugby union and league.Soccer have a big advantage there.

yeah they do on youtube but the camera work is usually poor and the matches are kinda like watching a low level resserves side. i do hope the afl grows the game in the usa so we get a spectacle of summer footy to watch, id love that

A lot of people under forty. Probably don't know Aussie Rules was big on cable ESPN showed it live... I was in Miami met Americans that loved it. Then massive money came into sport. EPL pushed it off ESPN.

If i was to look at USAFL and the original AFL here in Australia, the only massive difference i can spot is the accent. But the US has a passion for Australian football, like we have a passion for rugby (which is called American Football in the States)

Cool ...l have trained like an AFL player When l played under 17s aussie rules l was picked to train for essendon ..l ended up in hospital so the next player got my spot...it ain't easy they run you like a race horse...but you end up very fit and strong...

50 men's and women's teams...in the 80s ESPN showed AFL live back then...it was very popular.I know I was over there. Back to the future. 😮
