They charge extra for thick hair & 4c hair. I’ll never book a stylist that tries to discriminate me off hair texture. As if I can control how thick or curly my hair is. They claim it’s because it takes “extra time” but really it’s because they are lazy & want to discourage people from booking

I want to point out that the same is the other way around occasionally 😂 some clients, man. My mum is a hair stylist, and she never skipped a day of work. One day she had to cancel her appointments because she had an allergic reaction and had to rush to the hospital, and one of her clients had the guts to come in to complain. Like "she's in the hospital for a severe condition" and she was like "but I have a party!". It was a blowdry. Something that you can easily do yourself or go to another hairdresser and be easily fit in.
