Christ, one of the classic reviews, but man I still hate Amazons Attack. I know it's only kind of touched on because, well, there's such a high volume of shit to get through in these, but Jesus, that opening with the random Amazons just murdering two civilians for no reason was really worth taking note of. A kid, no less! What the hell was up with that regarding their Warrior Code or whatever? And this whole dumbass plan, literally none of the Amazons are smart or strong enough to say 'Maybe we shouldn't INVADE A COUNTRY because you're angry, Queen? And why /are/ you the Queen anyhow, didn't we abolish the monarchy?' And as people have noted, fucking all of the Amazons dialogue is in this horrible Rush Limbaugh nightmare of 'feminism', even though Linkara focused more on the practical reasons what they say is dumb (These buildings offend me! and all that.) And the thing is, we see it's not JUST the evil Queen; the regular ground troops are totally fired up for this shit too, hence that bloody opening to the attack! If the Amazons were a real race of people this would be really blood-libel-tier shit right here.

I didn't read Infinite Crisis, and was a bit out of touch with the back story going into WW Volume 3. So I was unaware of the Amazons departure. I can clearly tell where Linkara's personal biases are on display, and where he's misrepresenting what's in the comic for the camera.
