Great video. I worry with my 1025R every time I take it up my driveway and turn around to get into my garage because of the slope. I had a rollover happen early on after purchasing my tractor. I have a 1025R with a 60" drive over (auto-connect) mower deck. 1.5" spacers clear fine. I think 2" will squeak in if you spin the right rear guide wheel forward. Definitely helps on side hills. I laughed out loud at the rear spacer view from under the tractor near the end of the video. The camera angle and lense effect makes it look like you have sand paddles on! 😃 If/when you decide to replace your tires, I strongly recommend the Carlisle Versaturf. They have been great for me here in northern MN. I have run the front mount 54" snowblower up hill on my gravel driveway, in 2WD, without touching the diff lock without any traction issues! And they are pretty nice to the lawn while mowing as long as you're not in 4WD and not turning at race pace 😉 Really good traction through sand and the woods in the back 5 also. I'm really glad you found that torque spec in the manual. I would have mentioned it if you hadn't. I look forward to any negatives you find with 3" spacers. So far with 1.5" I haven't had any.

The video was very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to explain, and for the great videography that you produce for it. I have an order in for 2" rear Bora spacers. I'm a bit concerned as I have a mid mount mower--and it will be close. I may sacrifice the mower deck scalping wheels on the rear side to make these work, as I get in a lot of tippy situations (and it sure doesn't take much). Also, props to you for an orderly and clean pole barn. I need those organizational skills. I remember you having a rack with various tractor attachments stored on two levels. Do you still use that, or is everything in the pole bar. I need to make a rack for my attachments.

Awesome Video! I am from Ontario Canada and have a subcompact Kubota BX 2380! Found it tippy so loaded the rear tires help full for ballast when moving loads and seemed to help somewhat with it being tippy! Then I had installed a Tek-Tite Cab thats made in Canada weighs about 400 lbs! Was installed during the Winter and the first side hill I went on when snow blowing I thought I was going over! Couldn't believe it my throat was in my stomach! So I installed Bro-Tek 3 inch rear wheel spacers and what a difference! A lot more stability and more comfortable to operate now! Had to modify the 54 inch mid mount mower and just had a welder cut off the rear anti scalp wheels and reweld them to the outer sides of the mower deck! it was two hundred bucks so not so bad and works fine! But no doubt the wheel spacers are the way to go!!!

Thanks for the video Tom! I put in beet juice and also the 3” spacers in the rears on my 1025r because I have slopes up to 25%. Without the spacers, sideways across the slope was scary for me. With spacers - solid as a rock. Much safer for a high center of gravity tractor like a subcompact. I will say this- spacers help with safety but you still should not do risky things like carry loads high, fast, or without adequate weight.

I installed the 1.4” Bro-Tek spacers last year and absolutely love them. I use a MMM, so anything wider wouldn’t work for me. The tractor is considerably more stable when on a side hill. You will be very pleased with the performance of the 3” spacers. Enjoy your day.

@@elektrikman8834 on my tractor, if you go larger than the 1.4” spacers, the tires will hit the anti-scalp wheels. The tire on the right side (discharge) is within 1/4” of hitting it now. Anything wider than a 1.4” would hit it.

@@elektrikman8834 I can certainly tell a difference in having the 1.4” spacers. The rear wheel base is approximately 47.3” and adding 2.8” to that increases about 6% of more stability. I mow a bank of 20 degrees of slope and I am more comfortable with the spacers than I was without. Of course, there are a lot of variables involved in rolling a tractor… bucket height, slope, ballast, etc. The spacers will not keep a tractor from rolling if the right variables line up. Good luck with your choice. Hope this helps some.

I worry about the wheel spacers for a few reasons. It would void the warranty on the tractor if the dealership sees them on your tractor according to my sales person. You won’t be able to drive on the mower deck if the spacers are on the front. Also the rear mower deck would prohibit the rear wheel locks from working properly.
