Kirk pointed at me almost just like that back at my first Metallica show in 1994. I was 14 and they were my gods. I was fortunate enough to get right up front and I was crowd surfing. We locked eyes and he pointed right at me in a way to say “awesome, kid!”. That made my decade!

He said kirk and cliff stayed behind to talk to him for a while and were super chill, but james and lars were the arrogant ones.
