If you want to help me with any of my projects I have setup www.paypal.com/paypalme2/leel...,

EDIT: It looks like I am a wrong about the creator of the SDrive-MAX and the links to atari8bit.net are just guides/info he has put together. This is the original website by KBR.

In this episode I build the excellent SDrive-MAX tape and disc emulation system for Atari 8 bit Computers.
For a lot more details please go to
atari8bit.net/everything-sdri...
www.kbrnet.de/projekte/sdrive-...
atariwiki.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?p...
They cover many more options and go into a lot more details than I do in this video.
You can download the firmware versions from
github.com/kbr-net/sdrive-max
When I printed the SIO connector is was warping off the bed and I found using the fast solved this. Not sure if I brought the wrong crimps from RS components, but they are the Molex “KK 396” Crimp Terminals. It could be because I reduce the size by 5% as the original was a little too big as it was designed to be printed in ABS and this is known to shrink.
This is a great project to build and also very easy to use, I am a total 8 bit Atari noob and the only thing I struggle with is the makefile in the latest versions of the firmware, can anyone tell me what I need to do ?
As always thanks for watching, I hope this is a good guide for anyone thinking of making a SDrive-MAX.
