When I printed the SIO connector is was warping off the bed and I found using the fast solved this. Not sure if I brought the wrong crimps from RS components, but they are the Molex “KK 396” Crimp Terminals. It could be because I reduce the size by 5% as the original was a little too big as it was designed to be printed in ABS and this is known to shrink.
This is a great project to build and also very easy to use, I am a total 8 bit Atari noob and the only thing I struggle with is the makefile in the latest versions of the firmware, can anyone tell me what I need to do ?

I spent a bit of time with this and I found I needed a DOS 2.5 disc to boot and then I can format a blank disc image and then read and write basic programs :). Next issue will be the tape drive. It will rewind only when the Atari is not telling it do do something, cload or save and pressing enter will allow me to play and fast forward, but it did not want to load the program I saved and just ignored it.
