Hi. I'm in the USA with no 3d printer available. Is it possible to purchase a 3d holder from you?

I’ve tried several times to replace the RCA cable on my SL 1500. Following your teaching. At the end I get a buzz. Why?

Thanks for the tutorial. Really good and easy explanation. I have a new pressure sensor DSX1065 for my old CDJ1000mk3 left "on stock" . Any Info if this is 100% identical with the DSX1078? I want to use it for my repair of the CDJ 2000. It seems to be that one section of the pressure sensor is not working. I just found this fault during check in Service Mode.

What about replacing the top usb port where you put your thumb drive? I've replaced many rear ports but a customer is asking about the top side and I've never done it.

Are these pcb files availble anywhere? I'm building a standalone CDJ1000 that runs off a Teensy 4.x and plays audio off the SD cards, but I have just the case and the Jog wheel at the moment. Would love to do custom PCBs for the buttons/fader/leds Any chance you can share?

I had a tonearm replacement. And I am sure He never put the Anti-Skate spring In, or didn't locate It properly like you did here. I can turn It and nothing happens. I would do this If It was ten years ago. But the hands and Eyes are not up to this kind of Assembly. At least I can see where He went wrong. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi, I have a Numark TT100. The Anti-Skate does not work. It just flicks back to zero, no matter were It Is positioned. I cannot get hold of the Service Manual, so I don't want to tempt to take It apart. There Is no one round here I could trust with It, Only Mend It Mark, But He Is Inundated at the moment. Anything You can do will be great. Thanks In Advance.

It's 2024 and I randomly stumbled on this video on KZbin while searching for a solution to fix my CDJ800Mk2 which had the same issue with the jog wheel. The only difference in my case is that I did not replace the sensor ribbon but I rather wiped the ribbon clean using a piece of tissue paper coz I found out it had liquid residues (WD-40) (I had at one point used the WD-40 spray as part of a routine maintenance on the player). This resulted to loss of contact between the sensors and the ribbon. After this, the player started working out perfectly. Thank you once again for taking the time to share your knowledge with the world.

i have a new old '2001' pair of M3Ds that need a few repairs: new rca's, towers cleaning/regreasing, pitch boards cleaning, deoxit lubing/shader cloths oh and a tone arm tube needs straightening/replacing (2mm bend, no bearing damage thankfully), plus a lamp bulb replacement (might upgrade both to warm white smd's) fun times 😂 waiting on my vici v99 to arrive, your videos have given me the confidence to tackle most of these issues.

I have just stumbled across this video while searching for something else related to the Technics 1200/1210 and it intrigued me to watch it. Obviously the majority of people don't have 3D printers and pillar drills to hand, but it was more how the bearing was fitted. I haven't the time to read through all the comments but at a glance I didn't see the method mentioned I am about to suggest. I've fitted bearings into all sorts by placing the bearing in the fridge or freezer for a while, meanwhile the part the bearing is to be fitted into sits in the sun / near a radiator / in a warm place. Due to good old thermodynamics, the bearing contracts in the cold and the other part expands in the warmth allowing the bearing to be gently pressed or tapped in with little effort. Anyone tried it? May work rather than drilling castings.

Mk2 have a misprint as a result of a printing error. +- 6.4 is where the top dots should be still. Hence all mk5 and newer have the 6.4 written correctly on the plynth. Great job, you calibrated it perfectly.

Really good tutorial bro but i am facing a problem for a month now that no one can help me. I own both a 1200 mk2 and a 1210 mk2 for 2 months. Everything was ok till the moment i decided to clean up the faders. I followed every step of yours with lubricants and contact cleaners. I measured the ohms 2.7 with a multimeter i owned and i put the fader back. I play with traktor timecodes and guess what. When the normal speed to a track was + -1 for example a track that is 122 bpm with timecodes appeared 121,98 or 121,99 at 33rpm something like that which is normal. Now the speed is not as stable as was. I mean that now goes + - 0,05 and is not so accurate that is was before and when i go to 45 rpm it goes + - 0,15. This happens to both turntables. I tried to measure the frequency i put it to hz measurement but it doesn't count. I changed 2 multimeters with hz option. Nothing! I tried to adjust the VR 301 manually according to the dots but the speed is not stable as it was. I am going crazy really because I spent too much money. Can you help me please? I would appreciate it if i talk directly with you with some way.

Nice project. I am planning to do it differently: instead of converting the ps2 signal to quadrature signals it might be possible to take these quadrature signals directly before the mouse converts them to ps2. The only problem is that there is not much information available online of which mouse uses which sensor type so it might be a trial and error process to find one that is good for that kind of project.
