Thank you for actually using the Atari Punk Console! Most videos have people talking about the console with almost no time playing it. The sound is great and your proficient playing ability helps highlight the awesome capabilities of the 555 timer.

It's okay, but there's no sense of an 8 step sequencer. Minimum 16 step is useable in music making.
@johncoops6897
@johncoops6897 Жыл бұрын
You can make it 16 step using 2 x 4017's cascaded, or alternatively use 2 x 74HC595 Shift Registers.

I am trying to build a really similar Thing to yours, and i'd love to know how did you manage to hook the Sequencer's CV to the Atari Punk Console. I'd really like to know that, if you could provide me some schematics on it, that'd be even better. Thanks!

I have a question about this... Is the APC (556) automatically "off" when the CV input is 0? because i was under the impression that as soon as you connect it, it starts oscillating and when you pass the CV it just changes pitch... I hope you can clarify this for me because i want to build one soon...

I wanted to build something similar to this but with a built in delay. One day I'll give it a shot. Did you use kits to build this or did you source everything yourself?

Sorry sir, permission to ask, if you want the LED to turn on for 1 second and turn off for 5 seconds and you can adjust it to turn on for 5 seconds and turn off for 1 second. 1 second is also 1 second. Only the frequency can be set... please advise. Thank you

Hello, the ATARI is great, do you have any tutorial videos describing how you built it? or maybe you will have the schematic to see what electronic parts you used. I'm new to synthesizers and your project blew my mind! thank you!

Every note that you want will need a different RC value on the 555. you could use transistors so that the outputs of your sequencer go to the base of a transistor and close the circuit for that resistor/capacitor

Nice design and box, Kris. And of course, well done on the circuit as a whole. Are the two speakers outputting the same sound, or is it stereo, somehow? Just curious. Also, did you make and stain the box or was it a cigar box, etc.? Thanks, and well done -- I could've listened to this a lot longer! 😊🙋🏻
@KrisTemmermanNP
@KrisTemmermanNP 7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sarah, Thanks! :) no, its just mono output, two speakers looked cooler in my design ;) I made the box myself. It isn't stained, its the natural color of the wood, just some varnish. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but It was resawn from old factory shelves by a friend of mine... Thanks for your comment :)
