I still have SOTB I-III for my Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️. Definitely my favorite games 😺👍🕹️! All the SOTB have everything: - an amazing gaming 🕹️ experience - the superb graphics - the legendary soundtracks 🎵🎶 (mostly David Whittaker in SOTB I) - the brilliant backgrounds - the magnificent characters PERFECT RETROSPECTIVE SCORE 10/10 FROM VANTAA, FINLAND 🇫🇮! Probably Whittaker's best soundtrack (on Amiga)... and the digitised version isn't too bad on the ST.

It's fairly epic but the PC engine (Turbographix) version is the best & the Amstrad being the best 8-bit rendition. Whittaker's best soundtrack is likely 'Lazy Jones'. It's not unlike Yuzo Koshiro's Streets of Rage; a polka of remixed 90s dance music but is instead an 80s version serviced up in a joyful game he programmed himself. I think we could agree that Kid Gloves is his worst soundtrack.

I'm not surprised, the C64 version is miles better than this one and also has a banging soundtrack. Still terrible gameplay though, but that's just every version of SotB, it's simply not a good game!.

I see some comments here about the music and the ending-are they troll comments? I ask because I don’t hear any music whatsoever, and the screen just goes black at the ending. Idk if I’m having KZbin streaming/buffering issues and missing out on something or the game is just bad 😅
