Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Sheshach was king of Egypt. One thing I find that was missed regarding his exploits is that when he took away the treasures of the Temple, it says he took away ALL the treasures. Emphasis on all. What important treasure do you think would be included in all?

Shishaq (שִׁישַׁק) the king of Egypt is spelt differently from Sheshach (שֵׁשַׁךְ). They are not the same individuals, and they lived at different times. As for your suggestion that the "important treasure" (I guess you are alluding to the Holy Ark) may have been taken by Shishaq, there is a problem. Shishaq came in the days of Rehoboam the son of Solomon. But the Ark of the Covenant was still in Jerusalem 300 years later in the days of king Josiah (2Chr 35.3).

It is pronounced as long a, as in father, but the Tiberians pronounced it as a half-o, somewhere between a and o, hence I used the symbol a with an o over it in the transliteration.
