Despite the multitude of crashes, no serious injuries were sustained, and all bikes made it through the day (a few sets of paddle tires were a little worse for the wear though :)). Appearance by Mark "Wild Man" Stinson for the first time back to the FL Hill Climbs in many many years. He is an original from back in the 1980's with Ronnie "Yamahondaman" Hopkins and can be found in several of the vintage "Trike Chronicles" hill climbing videos here on KZbin. And, just for the record, he is still a madman. The silver/gray ATC250R is his original bike that he had sold and as luck would have it the current owner, Daniel, found and bought and now owns it.
In addition to the footage I captured, I need to thank Josh Stinson and also Jason Purinton for their contributions of video that I used to put this together. Josh has the first person view of the "Wear a GoPro, they said" after it snagged some vines on his way up a hill - many laughs were had by all. A couple more also. Jason got 2 of the crashes at a really good angle and a few other clips as well.
Hopefully we will all be getting together and riding a bit more often again now - a year was much too long of a dry spell!! Always a pleasure to ride with any of the guys in this crew and a guaranteed good time.

Awhile ago I took a dare to climb a crazy steep hill on my friend's farm with my 200x. It was about 100' at a VERY steep angle with a bunch of rocks and roots. The start was a path along a riverbank, a hard right, then about 20' of flat before the hill. I hammered it, took the hill pinned in 3rd, and aired out the last 10' to the top off a rock. I was stoked and best of all; we had it on tape!!! When we watched the video I was very disappointed to see that it didn't look nearly as steep as it was in real life. My point is that the hills in this vid actually look very steep on film, so they must be INSANE in real life. Mad props to everybody in this vid!

Dude , back in the day I was all up over the trike's tank ,maybe my leg threw my foot to the back bar, where ever the weight needed to be , my body just seemed to put it with not much thought ! It's fun watching these guys doing it knowing that ! Good stuff guys , stay safe !

Almost bald Razr's or Holeshots are the best for climbing that sticky hard packed stuff. The paddles just set you up to hook a rock and pull you off course. Cool unabashed video nontheless. Props.

3.27 dirt bike makes it look easy. The bikes got a big weight advantage. There better machines for hill climbing. I know from experience. I have a 1985 Honda ATC 200x and a 1997 Kawasaki KX 125.
