Totally agree :) I think the guys didn't recognize that carriages could refer to passenger carriages on a train. It's not a common use of the word in American English, and though we love them both dearly we all know the boys' English comprehension isn't going to win any awards.

I can't really say that I enjoyed this podcast episode because the longer it went on, the more frustrated I felt. That's mostly to do with the subject matter, though. There's just so much of this bullshit that still goes on today even if it is far better than it used to be
