Love ADO - but you definitly cannot rely on any notes, I do agree! If we were to look at notes, i'd have thought Blue Madeline would be a love for me - after sampling, I really disliked it. I definitely have favourite notes in general, and while they can lead me to fragrances I love I've found some of my favourite fragrances are composed of notes I do not traditionally like, have thought about or gravitate to. I do love this concept, and will definitely be sampling the first!

Thanks for sharing! I totally get what you mean, Blue Madeleine is quite different from the notes isn’t it. I saw on the website you can sample the new fragrances, you have to order 5 samples I believe to add them in the discovery set.

Sounds like a very personal fragrance, the first offering might be a little more popular as cardamom and strong coffee can be quite an acquired taste 💖

I just bought two Atelier des Ors: Blanc Polychrome and Blue Madeleine. I've got my eye on these two but I'll wait for them to go on sale. I refuse to pay full price for ADO. I only spent $100 on Blue Madeleine and same for Blanc Polychrome.

I dislike the idea of not listing all notes. I hate ISO e Super. If there is "sandalwood" in the base, I will be able to smell it. It wasn't listed in Gris Charnel either, but it's there.

Ahhhh I don’t perceive any sandalwood or iso e in these myself. I do get the sandalwood in Gris Charnel
