Atelier Playa Mujeres Resort & Golf Tour & Review

We wanted to share a tour of the resort we stayed at for our honeymoon.
Atelier Playa Mujeres is INCREDIBLE from the moment you walk in - 1000000% exceeded our expectations from an 5-star all-inclusive adult only resort.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everything you need.
The food. oh my. the food. Just order everything off the menu and you won't be disappointed.
We never left the resort and did everything we could that the resort offered from workshops, shows and events each day.

Great video man. Please tell me this. I have knee issues and going up and down stairs is a problem with me. Does this resort have facilities in place (elevators, ramps, golf carts etc) to help me get everywhere I might want to go? (ie: from room to restaurants, beach, pool etc..) Thanks so much, Steve S.

We booked everything through Costco. You will have the option for a public/private shuttle. 👍

Great review! Is tipping included? If not, what is appropriate for each situation?

It is not included! I had to do research on this topic and found this rule of thumb. $1 for drinks, $1-5 for buffets, and $5+ on sit down restaurants. I believe most resorts their pay is different than american restaurants. Hope this helps!

The jacuzzi is hot correct? Some "hot tubs" or round pools as they call them at some resorts are cold. Thank you!

Two things that stop me from reserve this resort: it looks like a very long walk to the beach from rooms and is there is any shade when walking to the beach or it's all in the open?

Great questions! It can be a venture if you got one of the rooms close to the main lobby. I do not remember the classifications of the rooms. Majority of the areas is open but there is path indoors that will lead you out to the pool/beach area. Hope this helps! We definitely plan on going back!

Depending on the deal can range from $190-225//person. $85 for clubs

I spoke to the hotel and all massages that are for couple like the better together and the frida and diego come with hydrotherapy included 😅

Yes! they do offer a night club and entertainment. The entertainment I'd rate it 6.8/10. Could be better but a good watch

I've only been to Cancun once or twice. Did you ever feel I guess trapped inside of the resort because there was nothing to do off the resort?

I did not feel trapped - in my opinion it depends on what type of activities you like to do. I've been to Cancun 3 times and it depends on the service/business of the excursions. I did zip lining, ATV and deep sea fishing. Hope this helps!
