Complimenti 👏 Magari non è nel vostro stile, ma io ci vedrei bene una striscia led (luce naturale/calda) nell'angolo del gradino sopra al voltino...potrebbe creare, una volta finita la stanza, una bella luce d'ambiente che illumina la parete in sasso e indirettamente la stanza.

Ho un appartamento con il soffitto con travi in legno e ho messo delle strisce di LED a luce calda sopra le travi; concordo che, se piace, il gradino è un ottimo posto per mettere una striscia di LED (magari con un diffusore) che punta verso l'alto. Avevo trovato su Amazon dei telecomandi radiocontrollati per accendere e spegnere i LED, di fatto porto la 220V all'alimentatore, la faccio passare dall'interruttore radiocontrollato e a valle collego le strisce LED, molto comodo.

Hello!! I take my hat off to Vince. He is an absolute workaholic!! You're no "slouch" yourself, Maddi. However, in the last few minutes of the video, I could see that Vince was hanging on to completing the wall with sheer determination!! And, all your efforts were worth the determination and exhaustion! The wall and the house look beautiful!! Oddly enough, I am watching another person on KZbin, who is renovation two small stone houses in the Italian Alps. His channel is Martijn Doolaard. And, on the day I was watching Maddi and Vince do pointing on the wall in this video, I was also watching Martijn doing pointing on the interior walls in one of his small stone houses! It must be the season for pointing stone walls!! Anyway, the wall is amazing and you must be grateful to have the one side of the pointing completed. Wonderful! I did this last summer. Like you, I kept one wall of our kitchen 'à nu'. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the piping bag method😆That said, I did get quite adept at throwing on the mud precisely where I wanted it to land! A lot of hard work but oddly satisfying 🙂 Well done, guys.

Been following all your videos. Very impressed. As far as the stones that go into the wall. Would be very cool to also see some local gemstones to showcase how beautiful some of the native gemstones like quarts agates, etc. But also put into a stone wall somewhere. Besides that maybe hit the wall with something that won't seal it but gives it a more wet look.

Good Morning from a cool sunny Fall day, from our 200 year old brick 1 room school house in upstate NY. You both amaze us in each chapter. Today it was like you were doing a puzzle fitting through gaps and openings, actually it seemed like you were painting with stones. The "Frosting " placed between the stones and then the drying of that media and finally bringing the wall to the Finish Line with wire brush. It is a honor to see you both work on this project, half way around the world each week. Thank you for taking us with you. ❤❤

C'était un travail difficile, épuisant, mais le résultat est magnifique ! J'adore le contraste entre les poutres légèrement cintrées et les pierres étroites disposées verticalement dans le passage du salon à la cuisine. J'ai juste un peu peur que ce beau mur de pierres et les joints ne s'accumulent et ne dégagent beaucoup de poussière. Cela ne risque-t-il pas de provoquer des crises de rhinite allergique ? Autre question : puisque vous avez désactivé l'ancienne cheminée à bois de la maison, comment allez-vous chauffer les pièces pendant les hivers ? Un feu de bois en pierre à l'extérieur serait un bel élément décoratif pour votre patio, si je puis me permettre. Santé, et merci d'égayer mes dimanches avec vos vidéos. À la semaine prochaine !

Si le mortier est bien dosé et bien appliqué alors il n'y pas de risque qu'il génère de la poussière. Les pierres seront lavées une nouvelle fois avant l'emménagement. ENsuite oui, la poussière peut s'accumuler dans les creux et bosses, il suffira de passer un bon coup d'aspirateur régulièrement! Pour le chauffage, un peu de patience, on y travaille 😉

Dans le cas d un mur maçonné à la terre comme ici, il est préférable de jointoyer pour éviter les chutes constantes de matières provenant des joints 😉

Salut Le rendus finale est sympa! Juste quand je fais ce genre de travaux Je commence en haut pour éviter de salir mon travail avec l'eau et la poussière du brossage. Et puis je ne sais pas si ces la vidéo je mouille vraiment plus mon mur. Pour que la carbonatation de la chaux ce fasse plus lentement et avoir une meilleure solidité de mes joints. Parole d'un tailleur de pierre Bon courage pour la suite
