He represented this video as his own content, and you can tell that in part due to the fact that literally all of his viewers thought he made the video, or commissioned someone else to make it, until they got told otherwise. Saying your videos are fair use, is one thing; not making it clear what content is and is not yours, is dishonest. Edit: I'm really hoping he just made a mistake and forgot the attribution, or he got distracted as he was actually posting the video and just didn't include a keystroke or something, but if he deliberately did not include attribution, especially in the copyright-strike happy environment that is KZbin, I'm done with him until he demonstrates that he has changed his ways and goes without doing something like this for a while.

@EuropaChronicles3 жыл бұрын
@@mdh49 False. It is well known that the ATF unconstitutionally “creates” law by updating regulations, which circumvents the legislative process. The shoestring ruling is a prime example, another example is their faulty ruling that a bumpstock is a machine gun - which it patently is not according to the law.
@TooManyChoices13 жыл бұрын
@@EuropaChronicles The shoestring is an MG because an SOT registered it as one... An sot could make an MG out of anything that will initiate “automatic fire” of a firearm. A penny, a shoestring, a piece of plastic; doesn’t matter, and it would need a serial number even if it can’t fire a shot itself. Whatever they register will be an MG if it can fire automatically. The NFA is a bad joke. Suppressors and “bump sticks” aren’t even firearms, but prove the fact “they” could add anything to this illegal as enforced against the citizens “tax scheme”, and that is their next goal for all semi autos above .22 caliber. They want absolute power. It’s not about the “gun deaths” or they would try to fix Chicago and New York, and it wouldn’t take much but some well placed public cameras.
@IDK_what_TO_call_IT_3 жыл бұрын
@@mdh49 I'm the words of a great man, "wong". While they do enforce unconstitutional laws written by 'politicians', they also create "determinations" of products on their own and have on many occasions determined that something was illegal after previously determining that it was legal. And people have been prosecuted for that very reason. It's the exact thing they're trying to do with pistol braces right now. No politician is changing any law on pistol braces. That's 100% the ATF. And all law enforcement takes an oath to the constitution. Not politicans. The constitution. So them enforcing unconstitutional 'laws' on citizens that have never harmed a soul is unjustifiable no matter how you slice it. (That first line wasn't to be insulting or condescending. Just a joke. Beazit talks to the "determinators" at the ATF: Beazit: So, why did that guy go to jail for that 10in AR that he failed to register, but he didn't have to go to jail for owning and not registering that Glock with a 4in barrel? Determinator: Because making that AR have a barrel shorter than 16in makes it more concealable. Beazit: Isn't that Glock much more concealable than that AR? Why isn't that regulated? Determinator: Well, the glock is more concealable, but it isn't as deadly, so you don't need to register that. Beazit: But doesn't the law treat all uses of force with firearms as deadly threats? Determinator: Well, yes, but, uh, it's quite simple, the AR is deadlier than the glock. Beazit: But doesn't shortening the AR to 10in also make it less effective than if it were 16in or longer? Determinator: Yes Beazit: Then why doesn't the 16 in AR have to be registered? Determinator: Because it isn't as concealable. Beazit: So let me get this straight... The guy is going to jail for that 10in AR he didn't register, because: - It is more concealable, despite the fact that it is completely legal for him to carry that 4in Glock daily - and because it is less deadly? Hold onto your pants for this stupidity, per the BATFE: The AOW at 2:30 would be a Title 1 "other" firearm so long as it is over 26" overall length with the VFG attached. Remove the VFG and it becomes a pistol. Conceal it with the VFG attached and it becomes an AOW. Franklin Armory went through a lot of crap and tech letters about it for their XO-26 firearm.

ATF should be a store, not a government agency.

as someone who is not from the US i looked at this and just thought "perhaps use how the military classifies firearms? or just have actual gunsmiths make the set categories"

This vid would get WAY more views if you renamed it to something not so esoteric. Great vid!!!!!

The "AOW" AR-15 isn't actually an AOW, it's a Title I Other Firearm, as the total length of the weapon, sans brace and muzzle device, would be greater than 26 inches. Typically, AR-15s with barrel lengths of as low as 12.5 inches, no stock, and a foregrip can qualify as an Other Firearm, since AOWs must be concealable, which is typically defined as 26 inches or less. However, if the weapon is built to be concealed or is used concealed, the 26in rule of thumb may not apply and it would count as an AOW. It's vague. Still, as presented, weapons like the "AOW" AR-15 are sold as title I firearms in New Jersey and Connecticut to get around their state assault weapon bans.

1. It’s a cartoon 2. if it had a folder that would be incorrect

@@dimitrioskarras6231 1. Yes, and? 2. But it doesn't. If anything, it just shows these rules are more ridiculous and all over the place.

The shoe string is not entirely correct either without the loops. Took some small creative license for effect.

The most concise, clear presentation that I've seen on the difference between AOW, SBR and rifle. If you understand legalese, you can read the law. The ATF seemingly is trying to make it difficult to understand anything that they say. Could Dick Beatzit have a video about the Taurus Raging bull in 454 if that is in the new pistol rules for being too heavy?

This felt like me the other day, trying to figure out what is measures to determine if an SBR or not ... couldn't even find it on the ATF site, had to find it from external sources (which even then, I was careful, but it was older articles, which have since changed). Also I enjoy trying to explain to my parents all these and they just laugh about how complex it is
