in my Arcade1Up pinball mod it has an Optiplex 9020 SFF with a 1650 low profile graphics card. This AtGames one is using an Optiplex 7020 SFF with a 1050 ti low profile card. The PCs are very affordable and easy to find used all the time, but the graphics cards unfortunately are going for 2 to 3 times their normal MSRP price thanks to the crypto mining and a card shortage at the moment. So you may want to hold off a little while until the prices in the market stabilize.

@cooltoy3 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately until AtGames fixes the issue with a firmware update it's just part of the experience. It doesn't lag, but it certainly drops frames, still playable, but not ideal. The only technical way around it at the moment would be to bypass the AtGames motherboard all together and connect a PC directly to the main playfield monitor. However, AtGames has already acknowledged the issue and will hopefully be putting a fix in place soon enough.

Could you please tell me if there is any specific part I may need when it comes to putting in a bigger monitor for the backglass? Thanks and keep up the great informative videos.
@cooltoy3 жыл бұрын
The 22" monitor I'm using doesn't really need anything special, since it's not interconnected with the standard AtGames pinball eco system, it just connects directly to my PC via an HDMI cable. The only thing you may need is some appropriate fitting machine screws to fit VESA mounting holes on the back of the monitor if what you choose has those. The 15.6" monitor that is the stock backglass for the AtGames tables, is what needs the special Rachel/BVIS/Video Input Switch Board to allow it to switch between showing the stock AtGames backglass scoring images or what you have displayed on your PC.
