Great take on the pinball. My wife and I are huge Sea of Thieves fans so will be picking up for the artwork alone. I hope the game is good but honestly I’m looking forward to the other 4k pinball games to play. Keep up the great work

Sea of Thieves is a good looking machine, esp like the speaker grills and the front has alot of interesting things going on. Hopefully more footage of game play is coming soon. This will be about the cheapest machine with SSf for some time, conflicted on this one and peanuts for my possible second machine pickup, what do you think?

until they show gameplay and 'you think' the game looks great i wouldn't pre-order the theme, what if you hate the game itself? is the artwork enough to buy? I can't answer these questions

Imo topper should've been a big skeleton shaped cloud that every player sees in the sky in-game called the skeleton fort. It animates when the fort is being attacked and other players try to steal the loot that the players there are trying to get from the fort. The eyes light up green in the sky... huge miss for AtGames

I like the look of it. Overall, I think they did a nice job on this one. I personally like AFM and Peanuts but I think this is my next favorite after those.

Pretty nice artwork. Never played sea of thieves either but this is probably the best looking cabinet so far from atgames. Although nothing compares to that recent Alice pinball artwork.

Oddly, unless I'm missing something, it seems like the only options on the e-store right now are for the machine with the SSF kit installed. The machine itself looks pretty good and the table seems to show promise, but I'm definitely curious how much of a crossover audience this will have with people who play the Sea of Thieves game.

I have been mostly out of the loop for a year or so, and I had been holding out on getting the 4k upgrade because I honestly haven't been ing my HD as much as I should over the last 1.5 years due to various reasons. But I've heard so many good things after updates of these "4K" machines lately. Getting the SSF pre-installed for < 1500 seems like a pretty great deal to me. Am I wrong? I can always purchase other games even If I don't like the included headliner. The art seems pretty good and not off-putting to me like a lot of these have been (Addams Family, New Star Trek crew, boring Peanuts). Wish I could get Attack from Mars for this price, but not paying full price for art.

PDubs, Entertaining as always! Yeah, the Sea of Thieves artwork isn't really doing it for me. The art reminds me of that new real world pinball machine Ninja Eclipse. It's not bad art, it's just not for me. But I've heard many are digging it, so I think it's going to appeal to some. I was going to make a joke about you being extra salty regarding the 4KP Jurassic Park artwork, and that luckily you got that new Elvira Salt and Pepper shaker to put it all in, but I know this video was mostly in fun. The Jurassic Park 4KP artwork isn't for me either, but I do like the topper, though :) Now bring back T-Roll, or ye' may be walkin' the plank :D vgv P.S. At least your thumbnail didn't have you trying to look like a blowup doll like ol' Michael B. I hate when he makes that face :) He's a good guy, though :) vgv

Not a fan of the topper on this one, but the cab design is nice. Would rather see a nice ship as the topper than a pirate (not familiar with the characters for this game).

There are no characters in this game... other than the ones you go to turn in loot and characters you defeat to get the loot. your character and ship sails are customizable based on what you'd like. The loot bosses are accurate but the pirate on the topper is made up.

I wouldn’t pay 600 for anymore IP digital pb. I’m still using my 1st gen AG pb modded and that’s all I need. Knowing what I know now I’d rather spend bit more and make my own.

If I had the space and skill to build my own I would as well. My only concern is that with my experience in using a PC with the HD pinball cab, keeping my windows running to always be ready to play was a PITA for me. I want ot just be able to start it up and play. Not go through 15 minutes every time.

I don't think it Magic Pixel, based off of the POV and side blades. The angles are way different than anything MP has done before. Unless they figured out their POV was trash ........ but i doubt that.

Problem is, the game is a niche compared to Jurassic park or Star trek so how many units do they think they will sell?

Due to the current market, economy, inflation, interest in the hobby, etc. they are way behind where they wanted to be sales wise, they have sold ballpark less than 3K total pinball machines. Even if they stuck Star Wars on here at $1500 a pop people are not pulling the trigger.

I want to mention another huge missed opportunity is that about a year ago Rare worked with Disney and came out with an amazing Jack Sparrow event that had Davy Jones and a ferry ride that resembled a Disney theme park water ride. Jack Sparrow was on your ship with you. It is amazing and I highly recommend buying the game on sale for PC around $25 just to experience it. Why AtGames didn't work to have Jack Sparrow and the event on the pinball I think only comes down to money because that would've been absolutely amazing

Haha this was a fun review thanks PDubs... In my opinion (Please don't get offended) but as someone who has played the game on PC since 2018 this was done lazily. The topper is some generic pirate with what looks to be a brig and sloop on each side. Looks they reused the same Addams family topper shape for this one. The side art is just the Sea of Thieves artwork logo you would see upon opening the game on PC. The other side is a boss you defeat for treasure but the most coveted treasure is the "Athena" which is missing on the machine. The kraken is not what it would look like in-game nor is the Megladon on the front artwork.... in fact the Meg looks like it was taken from the movie The Meg. This could have been a huge win for AtGames but clearly whoever made this slapped on the sea of thieves logo (like they did with jurassic park) and a few generic pirates / ships and called it a day. Compare the final artwork to the concept art which was provided and you'll clearly see how lazily this was done. I refuse to believe Rare was involved in this as they still develop sea of thieves the game to this day with free fun events etc. I want to mention that the game itself is $30 or less. And it's a very fun game - pinball isn't necessary for it and it's an awkward partnership. Lastly, I really hope they make up for it with the actual table gameplay. If it's not like Pandora Stern in that it looks awesome under UV black lights with Meg and kraken coming out and fort of fortunes or the whole game map itself just on the able then it won't sell well. These are diehard sea of thieves fans and it has a huge following.

That’s interesting I suppose lol at least we have 3 flippers and not 7 to 10 of them. They need to show some gameplay, why they didn’t and the machine goes up for sale on 11/11 and the game doesn’t come out until 12/31 is dumb. What if people hate the game? Why buy a skin for it? Etc
