All the divisions, Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, various Protestant divisions, they do not stand before God. He tore down the dividing wall. Now there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father who is above all and through all and in all. May we all turn to Him that we might know Him and be fully known by Him. They are the ones that knew how to defend our Lords’ teaching out of love for Him and his Church. Thank you for sharing your input with us. Let's not forget that New Testament as it is today was formulated by him. There were other listings from other bishops which sometimes included the unrecognized books (Gospel of Nicodemus, Gospel of Thomas etc), but as the NT is ordered now (The Four Gospels, followed by Acts, and the Epistles) was done by St. Athanasius. Even MORE of a Christian hero than stated here. Seriously, his contribution to the faith cannot be understated.
