Did ANYONE on this planet buy these logos in Southern RR ? I have scoured the web looking for any clips of someone running Sou f-units from Athearn, didnt one! I ordered the last DCC HO powered set of locks earlier today. I'm guessing next week they'll arrive???

Do you know if the KA4 fits an Athearn Genesis GP38-2 and if it's a plug-in or hard-wired connection? Thanks.

The KA4 will probably be a bit large; we typically use either the KA1 or KA2. As an alternative we know the SoundTraxx 810140 will fit an Athearn GP38-2 and plugs directly into the Tsunami2 factory board

Those engines sound great! Many of the other KZbin sound decoder installation videos sound really toy like. As someone who has logged hundreds of hours on 567 powered locomotives, yours sound really good.

Great video, that's a sweet consist of F7 locomotives, very sharp looking and the sounds and functions you set up are some of the best I've seen and heard.I came across this and the part 1 video looking for info on the TCS KA4. Have one coming for a Broadway Limited 4-6-2 USRA Heavy Pacific Paragon 3 locomotive that has sporadic stall issues on a couple mainline switches (none of my diesel locomotives have this stall issue 99% of the time). Its amazing to me the knowledge that can be learned on KZbin. Don't, know how I missed your channel in the past but I'm subscribed now. Cary

Really nice! You caught that EMD 567 transition just like I remember hearing. When I was young I would visit the local CB&Q yard and the 567 sounds were the symphony playing 24/7 out there! I still have 7 UP F3/F7s from early Genesis runs sitting in boxes waiting for decoders. I think you have convinced me which ones to use. Thanks for sharing this video.

The horn volume and all sound effects for that matter can be adjusted. On video, we try not to overwhelm the microphones, so volumes are lower for filming. I can tell you that these decoders when adjusted using the seven band equalizer and with the right speakers can blow the doors off.
