Athearn MP15AC DCC install

Complete DCC install using an ESU Loksound V5 decoder, ESU Power Pack, Nixtrainz Decoder Buddy and a Scale Sound Systems Speaker.

What an interesting install project! Especially seeing the detailed step-by-step approach. It appears that the lighting and the keep-alive installations were significant aspects of the project. The Scale Sound Systems speaker really brings the sound alive, especially the bass range. Even though it wasn't the most dramatic TV, it was still very fascinating to watch your skill at work. Thank you for producing and sharing this video.

Thank you sir, I appreciate you taking time to show how you do this, saved me a lot of time and taught me a lot. I quickly ordered the flux you mentioned, Amazon sells it for around $15. Before that I was using non-liquid flux and it’s tough for me to put just a small amount and I end up wasting some of it. Lastly, that Scale Sound speaker made a HUGE difference! Wow.

Nice and clean install there, that mashima motor looks like something that runs smoothly. only thing i’d really change with the sound programming is to the appropriate p3 with cv163=9

This is a TCS KA, only 2 wires. They are connected to the U+ and the GND pads on the Decoder Buddy. 02:12:39
