I'm so glad Russell isn't on show anymore. This is a great episode to show how he is losing is edge. He lets caller's go on and on without contesting their wrong logic. He gives no fight when a caller tries to prove god. All the people who sit on the fence, see this and see theists winning arguments just because he won't call out the errors.

It's funny how the more aggressive caller's that already have their call all planned out, always call when Matt is not there. They can call every week but skip if Matt hosts. Matt is the only one that makes them answer to everything they say. Russell let's them talk even when they are wrong. Both don and Russell let Matt, the caller, say all kinds of claims without checking them. The whole "information" thing drives me crazy. Caller's use idea of "information" one way, but not the way science uses it. Example Hawking was working on a theory of everything where he first said "information is lost in black holes." Then he fixed it by saying the information can remain but at the point of universes without black holes or something. Point being, no recipes, or instructions, or codes were what was being talked about being lost in black holes. Information and codes are 2 words theists have butchered and most of the hosts dont call them out on it. I think they forget that the stuff they let go influences viewers who are on the fence. Viewers who are on the fence during the call with matt, left the show thinking Matt was right even though he wasn't..

Russell and Don, the worst combination to deal with that Matt guy. of course he wouldn't call when Matt hosted. we have Russell stumbling over every word, apologizing before he says something for him not being an expert. it is easy to take the caller Matt's ideas and find holes. I hate when they let callers say dna and cells etc have information. this is why Russell is bad he talked about chemical reaction but never said that those reactions are the information. most hosts let this information thing go on and never defend what the info actually is. callers talk like it's blue prints or a recipe for what it will be. but it's not. also when callers say the cells etc have machines. information and machines are the right words, so maybe that's why they don't correct them, but those terms mean something very different than callers are using them. I wish they would get someone on to explain those things. like the woman who called about carbon dating using m&M's on cookies.

yes they did badly with his call. It has not been established that the natural laws came about by chance. It would need to be demonstrated. We do not know how the natural laws came about or how to account for them. Those who are postulating a god to account for the natural laws would need to demonstrate the truth of that claim.
