We stayed in Psyri for four days in April. Did a lot of walking each day. This video brought back a lot of pleasant memories.

Watched the whole Athens playlist, thank you ! My first time and I always do homework before solo travel . The only thing missing is a good Bar guide with alcohol/night life.

Man, I am suddenly "homesick" for Athens, even though I don't live there. Beautiful guide to some of my favourite areas.

Amazing and helpful video. I was at Athens on July this year and recognize most of the neighbors and sights as I booked a food tour around Psiri and Monastiraki. Obviously, it was a wonderful walk and a great tasty experience. Thanks for sharing and remember my great time at Athens. Efcharistó 🙌

Spent a Sunday last December watching the changing of the guards in Syntagma, then having lunch at Monastiraki and visiting Hadrian's Library and the Roman Agora. This video brought back wonderful memories of Athens!

Thank you! We were in Greece last month and watched many of your videos before we left. We stayed in Plaka while in Athens. We were able to find all the nooks and crannies because of your videos! Also, your video for hiking Fira to Oia in Santorini was a life saver for us. We actually went Oia to Fira and had to bust out your video just to get out of Oia! We said "now how did Sebastian say to get out of here?" Lol, so we stood in the shade and watched your video again before we left. We wouldn't have made it without you! Thank you again!!..... That hike was Amazing!

Thank you. I watch all of your videos. There's a LOT to see and do in Greece. In fact it's really tough to drop an activity when the choices are so highly ranked for history, art, architecture, culture, food, busy or quiet, climate, boating, hiking. Oh my goodness

Great help on this one Sebi! Expecting to be in Athens at the end of February next year on the ends of a Greek Isles cruise and you went right through where we plan to be.

Though I am back home in Canada, I still watch your videos/guides. When I was in Athens almost 3 weeks ago, everytime I return to my hotel in Psyri, all the time, I use google maps cause for 3 days, I can't seem to remember the way back because of the maze-like streets lol...

Thank you so much for this video! As a female solo traveller who planning on visiting next September, I found this very reassuring that I can navigate this better than the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona 😂🙌🇬🇷

Love the Psyrri neighborhood (how are you supposed to spell that?). We stayed at at hotel there, Live Athens I think. It had a quaint rooftop terrace with partial-ish views of the Acropolis, just off the main square. Gritty for sure, but full of charm.

The only thing i hate about Athens is UGLY graffiti everywhere
@sakisgr13965 ай бұрын
The graffiti is a rebellious reaction to the punishing EU and German austerity imposed on greeks and Athenians, they had to react in some way and sadly this was 1 result of that

It’s has its own charm. It’s part of Athens aesthetics now :)
