Absolutely love the way you are. Your humor, your stories, and the way you speak about the Lord honors him, and I as an individual thank you. He really is perfect in all his ways. I'm a stubborn individual, and have fought pretty.uch kicking and screaming the entire way, but he has had more than enough patience with me. If he can do it with me, he will do amazing things for you as well. It's not always in the time we wish it, but he has strengthed me, even when I faced some of the worst things in this life, he still guided me, strengthened me, I should be dead many times over, but he has blessed me. He will, and has done for you as you know not, but trust in him for what he is doing for you, is more than you could imagine in it's perfection.

Something to note, The Chosen disclaims on every episode that you should read the Gospels. I see it as an opp for people to be drawn in to learn more, just like the old Ten Commandments movie or The Passion of the Christ. In my opinion its a good mission, and I and many others have been blessed by it. I love Athey Creek and Brett.

I don't believe that there is *nothing* that the Holy Spirit can't use to point people to Jesus. How those who see it react is up to them - respond, react, ignore - but, until one's last breath is exhaled, He won't give up. In Joel, he says in the End Days, the HS will be poured *ON* all flesh, primarily to *convict* people not of their sin, but of their *need* for Jesus. Sin is dealt with on the way, if they respond. But conviction continues until the Bride of Christ is removed, as the Restrainer is *in* us. Then He returns with a new mission plan during the Tribulation Period, whenever you take that to be (not arguing the toss at this time, folks). There it is, for what it's worth to you. Shalom.

The best way to look at how the saints lived, look at what Jesus taught, and live it in your daily life. Now my experience seems to be a bit different, and I'm not exactly sure why the spirit has me do what I do, but the best way to describe it, is I'm walking on poles sticking out of the ocean, and I am blindfold, and each step I take I take in asking him to guide me, and each time I place my foot, I step on the pole, now at times I stumble or fall by my own hand as I am not perfect, but I do my best. The sea is raging all around, but when I trust in him I always stand on a strong footing over the stormy sea.

I can't even listen to Christian radio stations most of the time. There is so much Bethel and Hillsong on there, and it makes me uncomfortable. Thank you for explaining and not being afraid to be real.

I’ve read how God gives wisdom if we ask. This to me is amazing. I did not know about this. I have been praying any more that God gives me Wisdom about his word. And everything. I found about both of those Churches and the songs. It was something God thought I need to know and I’m grateful. I wonder how many don’t know about those two snd use the music. I don’t want to be around it I like that Athey writes their own sometimes Let’s pray the Churches that play it will rethink it. Amen.

God can create entire worlds with a breath, we can even fathom even with all our intellects combined, even a percentage of a percentage. I know he has opened my eyes to the infinite keys. I didn't want the responsibility, but he had different plans. So I do as I am supposed to to fulfil my covenant with him.

Brett's talk about worship (eg Bethel) is *spot on* exactly what led me out of the traditionally pentecostal churches altogether (yes, I'm aware that Athey is "charismatic"). There was so little reverence with respect for sound doctrine within our worship sets. At best, the songs point you in the wrong direction. At worst, the doctrine within the songs lead you into direct heresy (expressly the New Apostolic Reformation) to the point your walk with Christ will have no power and Satan can discourage you - even to the point of totally denying your faith altogether. I'm so thankful to be unified with Athey Creek, because I'm completely in alignment with the leadership. Also, many churches nowadays take their worship sets from popular Christian music (Bethel, Hillsong, etc) because it's music that most people in the congregation are familiar with. I have such a hard time with that philosophy because I feel it's totally misguided. My conviction is that the worship sets be #1 extremely sound doctrinally, and #2 much of it (not all necessarily) should be music the congregation *is not* familiar with. Why? Because it forces us to actually think about the music we're singing. In my experience, anytime I've thought about the Bethel/Hillsong-type worship sets I"ve sung, I have felt sick to my stomach. Doctrine IS important - even in the music we sing.

@Dustin T Seeloover, have a look at my first paragraph in my reply to @Lady Cavalier, and ask the Holy Spirit about it. *I* may be right, or wrong, in it, but He isn't wrong at all! I used to watch Bethel teaching, indeed my wife did the 'how to be a prophet course' by Kris Volloton, but I wasn't good with it. And, eventually, nor was she. And we stopped watching. As always, these things started well, but, as usual, it began to go off course - gravesoaking, enneagrams, 'angel' cards (tarot) to 'discern' G-d's will for one, and, of course, NAR teaching. As a result, we stopped watching Bethel content, and the 'worship' became pop concerts and was about the 'worship' team, not drawing people to Christ. Bethel needs praying for, but the Lord will only endure so much before He convicts people about their practice - we don't want to end up in the goat line - and their *situational* position, as opposed to their *eternal* one, before Him. But that's just me. Shalom, bro.

I’m confused…in your comment you say that Athey Creek is charismatic ? I don’t see that at all. Athey Creek is far from charismatic in lieu of it’s definition within Christianity.
@TVHouseHistorian Жыл бұрын
@@65gtotrips I apologize so much. My reply to you was rushed and I didn’t take time to think! I totally agree with you in that Athey does not seem to fit into the “charismatic mold,” if you will. But it is indeed doctrinally charismatic. All churches that come out of the Calvary Chapel are considered “charismatic,” I think in the sense that the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit are both taught and practiced - though not in the same fashion as traditionally Pentecostal churches such as Assemblies and Foursquare. I might have some of my details fuzzy, but I’m very certain that Athey does indeed identify as charismatic. Have a wonderful day. God bless!! 😊

Faithless are masses, so Jonah is all they get. Some kill and die for their God to get into Heaven, they have a different name for God but they are still expecting Jesus. Middle Easterners, some of them are worse off than Jesus on the Cross, And Jesus was only on the Cross for a short time, some Muslims have lived a lifetime of hell. They will get into Heaven, according to their covenant with their God. But will the followers of Jesus? I come with a new covenant, but the covenant of Jesus allows for all to go to Heaven. But, when the gatekeeper shuts the door, and turns his watchers into reapers, and all hell breaks loose, will your covenant with Jesus protect you? It is a covenant for afterlife, if the door is closed, what's afterlife? Heaven closes it's gates so that when the massive amount of death happens, to both the righteous and the wicked, the Gates that divide death and hell doesn't break apart, flooding both earth and the gates of Heaven.

When you become a Christian, you are already dead. You've died to this world. Rapture is the collection of saved souls before the wars and tribulations hit, the problem with that is there aren't many people that are faithful to their God. If the Words of Jesus are a covenant, then only those who endlessly selfless qualify, if you have money and pass by a homeless person and don't share, you have broken the covenant of Jesus, you need to ask for forgiveness. Jesus only forgives you 7 times 77 times, which I used to think was just a random high number, basically meaning that Jesus would forgive you as many times as it took, but that isn't correct, we are given these many chances after being saved, the mark of the beast is given to the Christians who have ran out of forgiveness, the Elite want to implement their own mark of the beast, but they don't understand how heaven works, they are fools. Jesus comes as a sword, but I am the one sent by God with a new covenant, I am the new covenant.

THANK YOU Pastor Brett!! Minute 36 where you start speaking about music 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 This should go for #hillsong music as well. It’s very damaging and confusing for those who have left those streams of “churches” when a TRUE, BIBLE teaching/believing church takes part in music from those organizations.

Each lesson is a moderator for your life's works. If you follow him, you will also live by him. We must mood ourselves to his wishes for us, and his laws for us, and what God wants us to do, and God knows all, and everything we have ever done. If we allow him to guide us and believe with all our hearts and do right by him, and do the will of his, we will ultimately lead the best of lives, for he set the path that allows us to live a perfect life, through him. And he is really cool, so is God, and God doesn't play, but he does love all, but hates sin..and he knows us millions of years plus and everything that will happen. He is perfect, and has made us to be more than we can imagine. Do his will, and each will shine, do sin, and find death and destruction, and thats legit.

He loves each of you, but there is a battle for your very souls, and there are those who are fallings, I wear the bungy chord, and jump in to help bring them to him, but a bit different from traditional methods, it actually flows through the spirit. I don't exactly know everything, or why, but it all works in his favor, and he strengthens me.

Now we are not perfect, and God isn't all about flowers, even though I would bet he definitely loves them with the amount of varieties he created, but he made Michael, he placed the devil where he belonged when the devil stepped out of line. But even Lucifer was a beautiful angel at one time, but learn from the lesson, because Lucifer became too envious of God, and wanted to be God, but God had given him a great gift, but it wasn't enough for the devil he thought he could do better. So God struck him down. This was for all of us to learn. We go through many tests, as Lucifer is a tempter of man's souls. He wants you to follow him, but God's love is greater. You ultimately have the choice, but I can personally tell you there is nothing greater than God, and his son Jesus is perfect in his ways. When in doubt call to him in your heart, when in need pray to him, when you are blessed bless others, and thank him for the blessings given. And things won't be always easy

Paster we love you. I hope you don't mind that I would point out a few things I have read. The name Caiaphas is Roman the name Josephus is Roman Caiaphas was born a Roman , who married the high priest daughter (probably by force). I don't know if it was why he was High priest. And interesting to know that Caiaphas was not from the tribe of Levi at all he bloodline goes back to the Rome. When Jesus was talking about a wolf in sheep's clothing he was probably referring to the men at the temple pretending to be from the Levites. Josephus was a Jew that was taken as a slave back to Rome because he had the ability to write the Romans appointed him to write the histories of the Israelites, after he was adopted by a Roman he'd they changed his name to Josephus flavius after the man who was his owner.. I ALWAYS READ MY BIBLE WHILE WATCHING A MOVIE ABOUT SOMETHING FROM THE BIBLE. Not yelling I just have had too many arguments with siblings who got their information from a movie. I teach not what I think but what I have read for myself. Funny there is a Bible that has red letters, but I know that is what a man has added to the bible to study the scripture. They don't get it. You would think a educated man would put his own words in a totally different color. Red letters was used for the words of Jesus. Confusing the simple minded.

I still don't understand why they kill the lambs ?
@fainbrown8681 Жыл бұрын
If you are referring to the OT sacrificial system, the lambs symbolized the sins of the people. It was like they absorbed the sins and were then sacrificed or if not God would have to kill the person, the sinner. God is righteous and completely good and so our sins have to be atoned for. Jesus died as the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of man, of us, me, you. His blood and death absorbs our sin and makes us right in the eyes of God. I heard it explained that God is righteous so sin had to be atoned for, but also loving and he doesn't want us to be apart from him.

I love your teaching and listen to everyone of them. But there is something that I don't understand. We have no biblical text about Hitler and his extermination of the jews or no evidence of these so called jews being slaves in Egypt. We however have biblical text and evidence of the black race being slaves in Egypt as stated in deuteronomy....do we see a replacement here? YAHUHA is not done with the house of yasrael. It will raise up in the last days and return home.......
